IMPORTANT MESSAGE: No one knows the day or hour of Jesus’ return (Matt. 24:36). However, a convergence of biblical signs and timelines suggests that it is near. To escape the judgment reserved for a God-rejecting world, one must know Jesus as Lord and Saviour. If you have not yet done so, call on His name and believe that He is the Son of God who died for your sins and rose from the dead, and you will be saved (Rom. 10:13). President Trump just announced a peace deal with Iran. While some are calling the deal a major step toward peace in the Middle East, others are calling it prophetic. Here are seven reasons why: 1. JUBILEE YEAR The peace deal occurs during Israel’s calculated 70th Jubilee. This is significant because the Jubilee is associated with divine judgment, and the number 70 signifies divine completion (Isa. 61:2; 63:3, 4; Dan. 9:24). 2. “LAST TRUMP” The peace deal occurs during President Trump’s second term, i.e., the “last Trump” term (1 Cor. 15:52). Since the deal also occurs during a Jubilee, it is striking that Trump’s first name (Donald) has a numerical value of 50—the number of Jubilee. His last name (Trump) has a numerical value of 88, a double occurrence of 8, signifying divine judgment and the Jubilee, which is the “eighth year” following the seventh Sabbatical year (1 Pet. 3:20; 2 Pet. 2:5; Lev. 25:8, 9). 3. TRUMP’S 80th BIRTHDAY The peace deal is announced on President Trump’s 80th birthday, evoking the biblical upper limit of a human lifespan (Ps. 90:10) and thus the end of the “fig tree” generation (Matt. 24:32–34). Significantly, Trump was born on June 14, 1946, coinciding with the biblical date Sivan 15, the day reckoned Pentecost in the Book of Jubilees: Pentecost is the harvest festival associated with the Church Age and Day of the Lord (Acts 2:17–20). 4. UNITED NATIONS 80th YEAR The peace deal occurs during the 80th year of the UN—the organization founded on the anniversary of Noah’s Flood (Cheshvan 17) to “maintain international peace and security.” This is significant because the 80th year evokes the end of the final (fig tree) generation, which Scripture says will be like the “days of Noah” and will arrive while people are saying “peace and security” (Ps. 90:10; Matt. 24:34, 37; 1 Thess. 5:3). 5. PEACE COMES WITH SECURITY President Trump has linked the peace negotiations with Iran to the expansion of the Abraham Accords security agreements, stating that as part of a deal to end the conflict with Iran, he expects several regional nations—including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, and others—to simultaneously join the accords. Thus, unlike previous peace deals, the Iran deal will result in a comprehensive regional security network: “peace and security” (1 Thess. 5:3). 6. PROPHETIC WINDOW The peace deal commences a 60-day negotiation window that ends around August 14, coinciding with the biblical date Elul 1. This is significant because Elul 1 traditionally marks the start of a 40-day period of spiritual preparation and repentance culminating on the Day of Atonement, or Judgment Day. Notably, this year’s Day of Atonement (September 22) marks: • One year since the Jubilee began. • The last day of summer. • The first day of the UN General Debate. 7. DEAL WITH THE DEVIL The peace deal is made with an Iranian regime deeply influenced by the antichrist religion Islam, as well as a wicked spiritual entity called the “Prince of Persia,” who is tasked with opposing or impeding the interests of God and His people (Dan. 10:13). Since it is essentially a “deal with the Devil,” the peace plan is doomed to fail (Isa. 28:15; Jer. 6:14; Dan. 9:27). SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION In summary, the newly announced peace deal: • Occurs during Israel’s 70th Jubilee. • Occurs during the “last Trump” administration. • Occurs during Trump’s 80th birthday. • Occurs during the UN’s 80th year. • Is linked to the expansion of a regional security network via the Abraham Accords. • Has a 60-day negotiation period that ends around Elul 1, the biblical date that begins a 40-day period of repentance leading up to the Day of Atonement. • Is a “deal with the Devil.” With the above facts in view, it is clear that the Iran peace deal is prophetic. Furthermore, since the Day of the Lord begins at a time when people are saying “peace and security,” it is time to look up: Jesus is coming soon. Thank You, President Trump. You Just Helped Israel Wake Up. I know this will surprise some people. Many are angry. Many are disappointed. Many feel betrayed by reports of a Trump-Iran deal. Me? I want to say thank you. Thank you, President Trump. Not because I think this deal is good. I don't. Not because I trust the Islamic republic of Iran. I don't. And not because I believe this war is over. It isn't over at all. I am thankful because this moment is forcing Israelis and Jews around the world to confront a truth that we have avoided for far too long: our future cannot depend on any foreign leader, no matter how friendly, powerful, or supportive he may be. For decades, Israel has fallen into the trap of believing that our security ultimately rests in Washington or foreign relations. Republican or Democrat, Congress or White House, aid packages or diplomatic guarantees, too many of us have convinced ourselves that someone else will always be there to save us. History teaches the opposite. Israel did not win any of our wars because of foreign alliances. No country stood by Israel in the 1948 war of Independence. France was our ally supplying us weapons and planes in the miraculous 1967 six day war, but we did not win because of that. We won every single one of our wars because of unbelievable miracles that happened naturally in the battle fields. The Jewish people survive when we take responsibility for our destiny and place our trust in Hashem. That is exactly what this moment is reminding us. And honestly, I'm not even worried about this bad deal. First, there is no actual deal. If something is signed on Friday, it is expected to be only a memorandum of understanding outlining the framework for a 60-day ceasefire. Second, Iran is already threatening not to sign unless Israel withdraws from Lebanon and unless billions of dollars in frozen assets are released. Neither of those demands appears realistic. The U.S. State Department already announced that the withdrawal expected in Lebanon is Hezbollah moving north of the Litani River, not Israel abandoning its security positions. Israel's Defense Minister has already declared that Israel will remain in its security zones in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza. Prime Minister Netanyahu has publicly stated that Israel is not bound by any American memorandum regarding Iran. Israel is still operating in Lebanon. Israel still has freedom of action. Israel still has the final say regarding Israel's security. And for that Netanyahu must be commended for his leadership in navigating the alliance with President Trump. So let's stop acting as if Friday determines our future. Don't forget: Iran started this war against us on October 7th through its Hamas and Hezbollah proxies, while coordinating attacks against Israel from multiple fronts across the Middle East. Israel did not wait for America to act. Prime Minister Netanyahu made the decision to strike Iran first, without U.S. military involvement. Only afterward did President Trump decide to bring the United States into the fight. Just as Israel launched this campaign without America, we may ultimately have to finish it without America as well. That should not frighten us. The lesson of this war has always been that Israel must be capable of defending itself, by itself, against any threat. The war is not over. The struggle against the Islamic Republic is not over. The battle between civilization and the forces of jihadi Islam is certainly not over. In many ways, President Trump is doing us a favor. Throughout this war, the Trump administration was an extraordinary partner. More supportive than any American administration in history. But alliances are not perfect. America's interests and Israel's interests overlap, but they are not identical. America is heading toward midterm elections. American politicians will do what they believe serves American interests. Israel must do what serves Israel's interests. Perhaps America will continue helping us. Perhaps there are surprises still ahead. Perhaps military pressure will resume if Iran refuses a final agreement. We will see. But the larger lesson remains unchanged. The Jewish people cannot build our future on the decisions of presidents, kings, governments, or international institutions. We build our future by believing in our mission, strengthening our nation, defending ourselves, doing what we have to do and trusting in Hashem. My greatest disappointment is not for Israel. It is for the Iranian people. Tens of millions of brave Iranians hoped the Islamic regime's days were numbered. Many risked their lives protesting in the streets. Many were imprisoned. Many were tortured. Tens of thousands were killed. They dreamed that the free world would finally help them remove the evil jihadist regime that has oppressed them for nearly half a century. Their struggle is not over either. And one day, I believe they will be free. So whether a ceasefire memorandum is signed or not, my message remains the same: Don't panic. The earth gives off a repeating seismic pulse every 26 seconds. That sounds like nonsense until you realize seismologists have been tracking it for decades. It’s called a micro-seism. A faint, repeating vibration moving through the earth, picked up by instruments around the world. The source has been traced to the Gulf of Guinea, off the west coast of Africa. The cause is still debated. Some researchers point to ocean waves interacting with the seafloor. Others have looked at volcanic, magmatic, or hydrothermal systems vibrating like a natural resonator under the crust. Hold on to that word for a second. Resonator. Physics is full of this. A guitar string vibrates at certain frequencies. A bridge can shake itself apart if outside motion matches its natural frequency. A quartz crystal can regulate time because it vibrates at a stable rate. A building responds differently depending on its mass, shape, foundation, chamber layout, and internal geometry. That alone makes it a physics object. Mass matters in vibration. Shape matters in resonance. Chambers matter in pressure distribution. Foundation matters in energy transfer. That doesn’t prove the pyramid was a machine. Though I believe it was and will be again. It does make the “just a tomb” explanation feel even lazier. A peer-reviewed physics paper modelled the Great Pyramid interacting with radio waves and found that under resonant conditions, the chambers can concentrate electromagnetic energy. A later seismic study measured ambient vibration inside the pyramid to understand its dynamic behaviour and earthquake resistance. The structure doesn’t just sit there like a pile of rocks. It responds. It distributes stress. It manages vibration. The laws of physics hold because the Lord Jesus Christ holds creation together. Modern science can describe forces, fields, waves, charges, resonance, pressure, and vibration. Scripture gives the deeper answer underneath all of it. By Him all things consist. The earth pulses because creation is not chaos. Stone carries vibration because creation has order. Quartz converts pressure into charge because God built matter with rules. Resonance works because the universe has structure. The pyramid conversation gets interesting because it sits right at the intersection of all of it. Earth vibration. Stone geometry. Piezoelectric material. Electromagnetic response. Chamber resonance. And how will the world be deceived? 📖 Revelation 18:23 (KJV) “…for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.” That word “sorceries” goes deeper than what people think… It’s manipulation… influence… control… A system that blinds the masses while convincing them it’s for their benefit. But here’s the part they don’t want you to focus on… 📖 Isaiah 10:21 (KJV) “The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.” There will be a remnant. Not everybody is going to fall for it. But listen carefully… This is about endurance. This is about discernment. This is about not merging yourself with a system that was never meant to give you life in the first place. It has developed at an abnormal rate, even for evil. It has worked like leaven until the whole lump ferments. The devil has seldom done a cleverer thing than hinting to the church that part of their mission is to provide entertainment for the people, with a view to winning them. From speaking out as the Puritans did, the church has gradually toned down her testimony, then winked at and excused the frivolities of the day. Then she tolerated them in her borders. Now she has adopted them under the plea of reaching the masses. My first contention is that providing amusement for the people is nowhere spoken of in the Scriptures as a function of the church. If it is a Christian work, why did not Christ speak of it? "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). That is clear enough. So it would have been if He had added, "and provide amusement for those who do not relish the gospel." No such words, however, are to be found. It did not seem to occur to him. Then again, "He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers .., for the work of the ministry" (Eph. 4:11-12). Where do entertainers come in? The Holy Spirit is silent concerning them. Were the prophets persecuted because they amused the people or because they refused? The concert has no martyr roll. Again, providing amusement is in direct antagonism to the teaching and life of Christ and all his apostles. What was the attitude of the church to the world? You are the salt" (Matt. 5:13), not the sugar candy---something the world will spit out not swallow. Short and sharp was the utterance, "Let the dead bury their dead" (Matt. 8:22) He was in awful earnestness. Had Christ introduced more of the bright and pleasant elements into his mission, he would have been more popular when they went back, because of the searching nature of His teaching. I do not hear him say, "Run after these people Peter and tell them we will have a different style of service tomorrow, something short and attractive with little preaching. We will have a pleasant evening for the people. Tell them they will be sure to enjoy it. Be quick Peter, we must get the people somehow." Jesus pitied sinners, sighed and wept over them, but never sought to amuse them. In vain will the Epistles be searched to find any trace of this gospel of amusement! Their message is, "Come out, keep out, keep clean out!" Anything approaching fooling is conspicuous by its absence. They had boundless confidence in the gospel and employed no other weapon. After Peter and John were locked up for preaching, the church had a prayer meeting but they did not pray, "Lord grant unto thy servants that by a wise and discriminating use of innocent recreation we may show these people how happy we are." If they ceased not from preaching Christ, they had not time for arranging entertainments. Scattered by persecution, they went everywhere preaching the gospel. They turned the world upside down (Acts 17:6). That is the only difference! Lord, clear the church of all the rot and rubbish the devil has imposed on her, and bring us back to apostolic methods. Lastly, the mission of amusement fails to effect the end desired. It works havoc among young converts. Let the careless and scoffers, who thank God because the church met them halfway, speak and testify. Let the heavy laden who found peace through the concert not keep silent! Let the drunkard to whom the dramatic entertainment has been God's link in the chain of the conversion, stand up! There are none to answer. The mission of amusement produces no converts. The need of the hour for today's ministry is believing scholarship joined with earnest spirituality, the one springing from the other as fruit from the root. The Jews in Europe during the "Dark Ages" were blamed for the black plague. In 1930-40's Germany for everything that was wrong with Germany. Today the internet is rife with the wildest conspiracies the Jews controlling the world. Antisemites claim that Jews secretly control governments, the media, and global finance. SUMMARY This message explains why divorce, alcohol and drug addiction, immorality, and abortion are so prevalent within the church today. Are our churches really filled with true believers? One hundred fifty years ago, a great preacher said, “Evermore the law must prepare the way for the gospel.” He said, “To overlook this in instructing souls is almost certain to result in false hope”—people believing they are saved when they are not—“and the introduction of a false standard of Christian experience, and to fill the church with false converts.” And then he said, “Time will make this plain.” And it certainly has. D. James Kennedy said, “The vast majority of people who are members of churches in America & most of the "West" today are not Christians. “D. James Kennedy said, ‘The vast majority of people who are members of churches in America today are not Christians.’” A. W. Tozer said, “It is my opinion that tens of thousands, if not millions, have been brought into some kind of religious experience by accepting Christ and they have not been saved.” And, of course, Jesus warned that on the Day of Judgment, many would come to Him and say, “Lord, Lord,” and He will say, “I never knew you; depart from Me, you worker of iniquity” (Matthew 7:22,23). That word “iniquity” means “lawlessness.” That Law is pivotal in conversion. How can a man repent if he does not know what sin is? The Bible says, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity” (2 Timothy 2:19). That is the same word: lawlessness.” If there is no knowledge of sin—and Paul says, “I had not known sin but by the law” (Romans 7:7)—then there is no understanding that we have sinned against God and there will be no vertical repentance. Without repentance there is no salvation. Bring Forth Fruit Unto God Romans 7:4 says: “Wherefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that you should be married to another, even to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.” Look at Romans 7:4 again: “Wherefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law by the body of Christ.” There is the sacrifice of the Father. The law has no dominion over the Christian. “There is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). The law holds no dominion because the Father paid the fine for us. D. L. Moody said, “The law can only chase a man to Calvary, no further.” The Scripture says “that you should be married to another, even to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God” (Romans 7:4). So the law holds no dominion over us. We are filled with a humble gratitude to God for His mercy demonstrated in Christ—His wonderful sacrifice expressed in the cross—and now we bring forth the fruit of a new lifestyle that is pleasing to God. We are no longer workers of iniquity. Characteristics of a True Convert So what are the fruits of a new convert? Well, according Matthew 3:8, there is the fruit of repentance. If we are soundly saved, we will have evidence of repentance. Zacchaeus said, “Behold, Lord, I give half my goods to the poor; and if I have wronged anyone, I will pay back fourfold” (Luke 19:8). Colossians 1:10: The fruit of good works. If you read the book of Titus, Titus continually says things like, “Let those who have believed in God be careful to maintain good works” (Titus 3:8). Jesus Himself said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). Hebrews 13:15: The fruit of thanksgiving. Oh, once you’ve seen the cross, you will say, “O thanks be to God for the unspeakable gift” (2 Corinthians 9:15). Galatians 5:22: The fruit of the Spirit. If you are soundly saved, if you are a genuine convert, you will manifest the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, faith, meekness, and temperance. Philippians 1:11: The fruit of righteousness. You will do that which is right. “He will lead you in the paths of righteousness” (Psalm 23:3). And then Matthew 3:10 warns that “every tree that brings not forth good fruit”—not ordinary fruit, but good fruit—“will be cut down and cast into the fire.” So as witnesses of Christ we should do everything we can, not just to get church members, not just to get decisions or youth group members; but with God’s help, we must make sure that those we bring to the Savior have the things that accompany salvation (Hebrews 6:9). The Key to Unlocking the Parables Let’s now look at Mark 4:3. Whenever Scripture uses the word “hearken,” I once heard this said, it is like a little trumpet sounding, Hearken. It’s saying, “Listen carefully, something important is about to be said.” Same with the word “behold.” If you see the word “behold,” some great truth is going to be manifested. But here in the Parable of the Sower in Mark 4 Jesus said, “Hearken; behold”—a double trumpet—“there went out a sower to sow. And it came to pass, as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, some sixty, and some a hundred” (verses 3–8). “The Parable of the Sower, which speaks of true and false conversion, is the key to unlock the mystery of all the other parables.” And then Jesus gave the interpretation, and we know this is the preaching of the gospel and the seed falls on hard hearts, on stony-ground hearts, on thorny-ground hearts, and on good soil. But it seems the disciples didn’t understand what Jesus was speaking about. And this is what the Lord said to them: “Do you not know this parable? How then will you understand all parables?” (verse 13). In other words, the Parable of the Sower, which speaks of true and false conversion, is the key to unlock the mystery of all the other parables. Once we understand that when the gospel is preached there is true and false conversion, then the other parables begin to make sense. The sheep and the goats dwelling together—the true and the false. The foolish virgins and the wise—the true and the false together. The bad fish and the good fish drawn into the gospel net, sitting together. The wheat and the tares growing alongside one another. Characteristics of a False Convert The Parable of the Sower is also in Matthew 13 and Luke 8, so we are going to use the harmony of the Gospels to look at six characteristics of a false conversion. Mark 4:5: There are immediate results with a false convert. That is, he hears the modern message of everlasting life and says, “I want that.” There is no weighing of the issues. And yet Jesus said, “What man goes to war without checking out what the enemy’s got? What man builds a tower without seeing if he’s got enough materials?” (Luke 14:28–31). Luke 8:6: There is a lack of moisture. There is no thirst for the living God. Matthew 13:6: There is no root. There is no depth of godly character. Mark 4:16: They received the word with gladness. And this is the key. You see, when the Law is not preached, sin is not seen as being exceedingly sinful. Paul said, “By the commandment, sin became exceedingly sinful” (Romans 7:13). And when sin is not seen in the light of what it is—being exceedingly sinful—there is no trembling before a holy God. There is no contrition, no sorrow for sin. So the false convert receives the word with gladness. Matthew 13:20: They receive the word with joy. Their laughter isn’t turned to mourning, and their joy isn’t turned to heaviness (James 4:9). Luke 8:13: For a while they do believe. They have a genuine “false conversion” experience. Shielded from the Sunlight Imagine two plants are growing alongside each other. One is a small plant and doesn’t look very impressive; the other is a large plant and looks like it is growing very well. And if we had to pull a plant out to make room, most of us would say that the little plant is not doing very well, so let’s pull it out and give that big plant plenty of room to grow. And then something interesting happens. The sun comes out and the little plant that didn’t look very impressive seems to be thriving under the heat of the sunlight. The second plant, the big one, seems to be withering under the heat of the sun. If we could see through the soil, we would realize why this is happening: under the soil of the big plant there is bedrock, so it can’t send its roots in deep after moisture. Now, it was the sunlight that revealed what we couldn’t see. We couldn’t see the soil condition, but the sunlight revealed that there was something wrong under the soil. The same is true in the spiritual realm. The sunlight in the spiritual—that which reveals what we cannot see—is tribulation (Matthew 13:21), temptation (Luke 8:13), and persecution (Mark 4:17). These three factors reveal what you and I cannot see: the heart condition of the professing convert. Now, if you purchase an expensive house plant, one of the worst things you can do is to take that plant home and say, “This plant cost me a lot of money, so I am going to keep it away from the sunlight. I am going to put it in a closet and shut the door.” No, that is the worst thing that you can do. If you know what you are doing, you will put the plant in the sunlight and you will even rotate it to make sure it gets plenty of balanced light. In the same way, the worst thing that you and I can do with the new convert is shield him from the sunlight of tribulation, temptation, and persecution. If he is genuine, the sunlight will cause him to grow. If he is false, the sunlight will cause him to wither and die. “If he is genuine, the sunlight will cause him to grow. If he is false, the sunlight will cause him to wither and die.” Years ago, when Russia was under communism, the story is told of two Russian guards who burst into a prayer meeting, fully armed. They said, “If you are not prepared to die for your faith, get out of here!” And half of those professing Christians left. When the doors were closed, the guards put their guns down, got their Bibles out and said, “We are believers but we didn’t want to risk fellowship until we sorted out the sheep from the goats.” If severe persecution fell upon the contemporary Church, if we had a Russian guard clean-out, the effect would be, first, that it would purify the Church. It would rid the Church of murmurers and complainers and those who cause division. But secondly and more importantly, it would reveal to the stony-ground hearer, the false convert, the error of his ways. Can you imagine the tragedy of using the modern method of evangelism? That is, you preach the modern gospel—you go up to someone and say, “Excuse me, if you died tonight, would you have assurance that you would go to Heaven?” He says, “Well, I’d hope I would.” And you say, “You can know that if you died tonight you would go to Heaven. Would you like me to share with you how you can know?” He says, “Yeah, sure.” And you say, “Well, Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and He rose again on the third day. If you repent and put your faith in Him, you can pass from death to life today, and you can know that if you died tonight, you’d go straight to Heaven.” There is no preaching of future punishment. There is no mention of Judgment Day, the very reason that men are commanded to repent. There is no mention of Hell, there is no opening of the divine Law to show the exceeding sinfulness of sin. And you get a decision for Jesus, but you notice something isn’t quite right. This guy has no zeal for the lost. He has no hunger for the Word. He doesn’t really get into fellowship. And so you make it your job to make sure that he is continuing in his faith. You read his Bible to him, you take him to fellowship, etc. You shield him from the sunlight of tribulation, temptation, and persecution. And you manage to do so right up until Judgment Day, when the eyes of a holy God burn their way into his guilty soul; when the books are opened and he stands before a holy, wrath-filled Law and he is exposed to be a worker of iniquity. What a tragedy that you shielded him from the sunlight! Wouldn’t it have been better to stand back and let the sunlight reveal to him his true condition, rather than give him a false assurance that he is saved? “Wouldn’t it have been better to stand back and let the sunlight reveal to him his true condition, rather than give him a false assurance that he is saved?” Don't run after false converts, and say, “Are you reading your Bible?” You see, a true convert will desire the sincere milk of the Word (1 Peter 2:2). He will say, “I rejoice at Your Word as one who finds great spoil” (Psalm 119:162). I’d say, “Are you getting into fellowship?” A true convert knows that he has passed from death to life because he loves the brethren (1 John 3:14). He will get himself into fellowship. He puts his hand to the plow and doesn’t look back, because he is fit for the kingdom. In Luke 9:62 Jesus says, “No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom.” That word “fit” in the Greek is euthetos, which means “ready for use.” The soil of his heart was turned that he might receive the engrafted Word, which is able to save his soul (James 1:21). Soundly Saved This is going to sound a little radical, but if someone is soundly saved, he will never fall away. He will say with Peter, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life” (John 6:68). The true convert says, “I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed to Him against that day. He is able to keep me from falling and to present me faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy” (2 Timothy 1:12; Jude 1:24). Listen to Psalm 26:1: “I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore, I will not slide.” Psalm 37:30,31: “The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment. The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.” You see, that is a reference to the New Covenant. When someone is soundly saved, God says, “I will take My law and write it on his heart and cause him to walk in My statutes” (Ezekiel 36:27). That’s what happens when somebody is soundly saved. They have regard to the divine Law. No longer are they workers of iniquity. They don’t lie, they don’t steal, they don’t kill, they don’t commit adultery, they don’t lust. They don’t hate, they don’t get angry without cause, they don’t covet. It’s those we erroneously call “backsliders” who fall away because they never slid forward in the first place. Scripture says, “According to the true proverb, the dog returns to his vomit and the pig goes back to its wallowing in the mire” (2 Peter 2:22). Do you know why a pig goes back to wallowing in the mire? Is it because he is a dirty creature? No. He goes back to cool his flesh. That’s why pigs get into the mire and wallow, and that’s what happens with a false convert. You see, the modern gospel does not use the Law as Jesus did. So the sinner is not crucified with Christ. Paul said, “The law was death to me” (Romans 7:13). It was the Law that killed me, Paul said. If the Law is allowed to do its work, it drives us to the new life that is in Christ. It is only a matter of time before the false convert is drawn back to the filth of this world to cool his sinful flesh—because it is still alive within his heart. He has never been crucified with Christ. George Whitefield said these words: “That is the reason we have so many mushroom converts”—that is, converts that spring up out of nowhere and then disappear—“because their stony ground is not plowed up. They have not got a conviction of the law.” Examine Yourself Am I saying a genuine convert never sins? Of course not! A Christian, every Christian, has a battle with the world, the flesh, and the devil. And sometimes he does fall into sin, but that’s the point: he falls into sin, while the hypocrite, the false convert, dives into sin. The Christian sins against his will, but the hypocrite, the false convert, makes provision for the flesh. If you’ve ever got up and said, “It’s Monday, today I’ll sin,” then you are making provision for the flesh and you need to examine yourself and see if you are in the faith (2 Corinthians 13:5). A Christian falls and the hypocrite dives. That’s the difference between the true and the false, the Christian and the hypocrite, life and death, and Heaven and Hell. “That’s the difference between the true and the false, the Christian and the hypocrite, life and death, and Heaven and Hell.” “The sunlight of tribulation and temptation causes the false convert to wither and the true convert to send his roots deep into God and His Word.” In Luke 10:3, Jesus did something totally contrary to modern evangelism: He sent His lambs among wolves! That is so contrary to what we do with those who make decisions for Christ. “Oh, he’s made a decision—keep him away from his old friends!” No, no, no. Let the sunlight of tribulation, temptation, and persecution come upon him. If he’s genuine, he will grow. If he’s false, he will wither and die. Judas: Genuine or False? Some people think Judas was a Christian who loved the Lord and he somehow backslid. Well, was Judas genuine or false? Jesus said, “One of you is a devil” (John 6:70). There’s a good clue. Well, should we run around looking for Judases, and if we see them, throw them out of the church? If we see a tare, should we pull it out? No, Jesus said don’t do that, because if you run around pulling out tares you may pull out a wheat (Matthew 13:28,29). Don’t do that; just leave them. On Judgment Day, God will sort out the sheep from the goats, the wheat from the tares. Because we really, truly don’t know. Only God truly knows the genuine from the false. A friend of mine said every time he’d see a painting of The Last Supper, he’d look for Judas: big hook-nose, warts, down on the end counting money. But that’s so contrary to Scripture. Judas was probably as good looking as me—he was probably good looking. When a woman broke an alabaster box of expensive ointment, one of the disciples complained, “Why wasn’t this sold and the money given to the poor?” That was Judas, because he cared for the poor. No, he didn’t. The Bible tells us he was a worker of iniquity: he was the treasurer, and he was stealing money from Jesus and the disciples (John 12:4–6). Judas was a hypocrite, but he hid it so well that when Jesus said, “One of you will betray Me,” the disciples didn’t say, “Oh, yah, there’s old hook-nose down there; that’s no surprise to me…” They didn’t say that. They suspected themselves rather than the honest treasurer who cared for the poor. They said, “Is it I, Lord? Is it me?” Jesus said, “It is he who puts the sop in the dish” (Matthew 26:21–23): Judas. The disciples didn’t realize it was him even then. When he went out to betray Jesus, some of them thought he had gone to give money to the poor. He hid it well…from the disciples, but not from God. And you and I may hide it, from those around us, but not from God. Listen to Colossians 4:7–14, and notice how Paul puts a seal of approval on certain believers. He says, “All my state shall Tychicus declare to you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord.” Well, there’s a word of approval, a seal of approval, on Tychicus. He’s a faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord. With Onesimus, “a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you.” See, when Christians were being martyred for their faith, it’s important that there was a seal of approval on believers. When you write a letter you say, “He’s one of you; you can trust him.” “Marcus, sister’s son to Barnabas, touching whom you’ve received commandments, if he comes to you, receive him.” There’s an endorsement. “Epaphras, who is one of you”—again, a seal of approval—“a servant of Christ, salutes you.” And Luke, who needed no approval, “a beloved physician.” And then Paul said, “And Demas greets you.” It’s as though Paul looked at Demas and said, “Uh, I really don’t know about you. I can’t see any fruit in your life.” And further over in Scripture, in 2 Timothy 4:10, we see Scripture says, “For Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world.” A false convert. “The great determining factor in whether we, with God’s help, produce true or false converts is the right use of the Law of God.” Remember the words of that great preacher 150 years ago? He warned, “Evermore the law must prepare the way for the gospel. To overlook this in instructing souls is almost certain to result in false hope, the introduction of a false standard of Christian experience, and to fill the church with false converts. Time will make this plain.”

This is of of these beautiful gems from early church history, that there have always been faithful servants of God, even though he was not perfect & had some controversies, he contended for the faith against Greek philosophy & myths. Born in Mesopotamia around 120 CE, he is most famous for compiling the Diatessaron, an early, continuous harmony of the four gospels, and for his fiery polemic, the Address to the Greeks. His life and legacy can be broken down into a few key aspects: *Conversion and Studies: Originally a pagan, Tatian traveled throughout the Greco-Roman world and studied rhetoric and philosophy. He eventually settled in Rome, where he converted to Christianity and became a prominent pupil of the famous Christian philosopher Justin Martyr. *The Diatessaron: After Justin's martyrdom, Tatian returned to the East. There, he compiled the Diatessaron (meaning "From Four"), which fused the four separate gospels into a single, chronological narrative of Jesus's life. It became the standard text in the Syriac-speaking church for over a century. *Address to the Greeks: Tatian's other major surviving work, Address to the Greeks, is a fierce critique of pagan Hellenistic culture.

There are moments in Scripture that feel almost too terrifying to preach honestly. Moments so overwhelming… so violent… so supernatural… that many modern believers quietly skip past them because they do not know what to do with the weight of them. This is one of those moments. One night. One angel. One kingdom trembling in fear. And 185,000 soldiers never woke up again. Not after weeks of battle. Not after years of war. Not after a siege that slowly starved them. Overnight. The Bible says it happened. And what makes the story even more terrifying is this: The destruction did not begin with swords. It began with pride. Most people know the verse. Few understand the atmosphere. Almost nobody talks about the spiritual meaning behind it. Because this was never just about Assyria. This was about what happens when human arrogance collides with the holiness of God. And if we are honest… many of us are closer to that collision than we realize. The story unfolds during the reign of King Hezekiah. Jerusalem was surrounded. The Assyrian Empire was not just powerful. It was unstoppable. They crushed nations like dust. Kings trembled at their approach. Entire civilizations collapsed under their brutality. Ancient Assyrian records themselves proudly describe torture, impalement, mass executions, and psychological warfare. When Assyria arrived outside Jerusalem, this was not merely political pressure. This felt like the end of the world. Second Kings 18 and Isaiah 36 record how Sennacherib, king of Assyria, sent officials to mock Judah publicly. Not privately. Publicly. The enemy wanted fear to spread. And fear spreads fastest when faith starts sounding foolish. The Assyrian spokesman stood before the people and essentially asked: “Who are you trusting now?” But the Hebrew wording reveals something deeper. In Isaiah 36:4, the Assyrian representative says: ה הַבִּטָּחוֹן הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר בָּטָחְתָּ” Transliterated: “Mah ha-bittachon hazzeh asher batachta?” Literal meaning: “What is this confidence in which you trust?” The word “בִּטָּחוֹן” (bittachon) means security, confidence, trust. This was not just military intimidation. This was spiritual mockery. The enemy was ridiculing faith itself. Sound familiar? “How can you still trust God after what happened to you?” “How can you still pray when nothing changed?” “How can you still believe after all your failures?” Some of you know exactly what it feels like to hear those whispers in your darkest nights. The Assyrians mocked Hezekiah’s dependence on God because they believed visible power was greater than invisible authority. And that is still the lie destroying people today. We trust money more than prayer. We trust influence more than holiness. We trust platforms more than repentance. We trust public image more than private surrender. But heaven has never been intimidated by human strength. Isaiah 37 reveals that Hezekiah did something many people refuse to do during crisis. He humbled himself. He tore his clothes. He entered the house of the Lord. He sought God instead of pretending to be emotionally invincible. There is something deeply powerful about brokenness that runs toward God instead of away from Him. Many people only want a Savior who comforts. But Scripture also reveals a God who confronts. A God who judges evil. A God whose holiness is not symbolic. And this story forces us to wrestle with that reality. Hezekiah receives a message through the prophet Isaiah. God says Assyria would not conquer Jerusalem. Not because Judah was perfect. Not because Hezekiah was flawless. But because God Himself would defend His name. Then comes the verse that still sends chills down the spine of anyone who reads it carefully. 2 Kings 19:35:“וַיְהִי בַּלַּיְלָה הַהוּא וַיֵּצֵא מַלְאַךְ יְהוָה וַיַּךְ בְּמַחֲנֵה אַשּׁוּר מֵאָה שְׁמוֹנִים וַחֲמִשָּׁה אָלֶף” Transliterated: “Vayehi balaylah hahu vayetze malakh YHWH vayakh bemachaneh Ashur me’ah shemonim vachamishah alef.” Literal translation: “And it came to pass that night that the Angel of Yahweh went out and struck down in the camp of Assyria one hundred and eighty-five thousand.” That night. Not after negotiation. Not after military strategy. Not after political alliance. That night. The phrase “מַלְאַךְ יְהוָה” (malakh YHWH) means “Angel of the LORD.” This phrase appears throughout the Old Testament in moments of terrifying divine intervention. Many biblical scholars throughout church history have believed certain appearances of the Angel of the LORD may represent a manifestation of God Himself before the incarnation of Christ. Others understand this as a mighty heavenly messenger carrying divine authority. Either way, the point is unmistakable: The battle ended because heaven stepped in. Imagine the silence the next morning. The same army that mocked God. The same soldiers that terrified nations. The same empire that looked unstoppable. Gone. Bodies everywhere. No battle cry. No resistance. No human explanation sufficient to capture the horror of what happened. Can you imagine the emotional shock? One day you are preparing for death. The next morning the threat has vanished. Some of you reading this have lived through moments that felt spiritually similar. You thought the addiction would destroy you. You thought depression would bury you. You thought anxiety would suffocate you. You thought your marriage was beyond repair. You thought your shame was permanent. Then somehow… God intervened. Not always dramatically. Not always instantly. But undeniably. And when you look back now, you realize you survived things that should have destroyed you. The modern world struggles deeply with stories like this because we prefer a God we can comfortably explain. But the Bible never apologizes for the holiness of God. The same Scriptures that say “God is love” also reveal that God judges evil, arrogance, violence, oppression, blasphemy, and pride. The Assyrian empire had built itself on cruelty. Historical records confirm their brutality. Entire populations were terrorized. People were mutilated publicly to inspire fear. God’s judgment did not emerge from randomness. It emerged from justice. And this should sober every generation. Because power without repentance eventually collapses. Always. Empires rise. Empires boast. Empires mock God. Empires persecute righteousness. Then history watches them disappear. Rome. Babylon. Assyria. Human pride has an expiration date. And maybe the hardest truth inside this story is this: The greatest danger was never outside Jerusalem. It was the temptation to stop trusting God. That same temptation is attacking people right now. Some of you are exhausted. Secretly numb. Secretly angry. Secretly drifting. You still post verses. Still attend church. Still smile publicly. But internally? You are tired. Tired of waiting. Tired of fighting temptation. Tired of praying for healing. Tired of carrying grief nobody understands. And the enemy keeps whispering: “Where is your God now?” That is exactly what Assyria asked Judah. But heaven answered. Not immediately. But decisively. There is a dangerous misconception spreading across modern Christianity that says faithfulness guarantees comfort. Scripture never promises that. Jerusalem still experienced fear. Hezekiah still wept. The people still faced uncertainty. Faith does not mean the absence of terrifying nights. Faith means refusing to surrender trust while the night is still dark. Sometimes God calms storms. Sometimes God defeats enemies. Sometimes God strengthens people to endure suffering. But He is never absent. Never. Even when heaven feels silent. Even when prayers feel delayed. Even when your soul feels exhausted. And maybe someone reading this desperately needs to hear that tonight. You are not abandoned. The Hebrew Scriptures repeatedly use the covenant name of God: “יהוה” — YHWH. This was not a distant deity. This was the covenant-keeping God. The God who remembered promises. The God who defended His people. The God who heard cries in the dark. The same God revealed fully through Jesus Christ. And this is where the story becomes deeply personal. Because every human being eventually faces an enemy greater than Assyria. Sin. Death. Judgment. No amount of human strength can overcome those enemies. This is why the Gospel matters. Jesus Christ did not come merely to inspire moral improvement. He came to save sinners. The Greek of John 3:16 says: “Οὕτως γὰρ ἠγάπησεν ὁ Θεὸς τὸν κόσμον…” Transliterated: “Houtōs gar ēgapēsen ho Theos ton kosmon…” Literal meaning: “For in this way God loved the world…” Not abstract love. Sacrificial love. Jesus bore judgment on the cross so sinners could receive mercy instead of condemnation. That is the heartbeat of Christianity. Not human goodness. Not religious performance. Not pretending to be perfect. Grace. And maybe this article exposed something you have been hiding. Maybe pride. Maybe secret sin. Maybe spiritual numbness. Maybe fear. Maybe exhaustion. Do not ignore conviction. Conviction is often mercy knocking before destruction arrives.

Walt Heyer 22 June 2026 Instead of affirming that “God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them (Genesis 1:27),” the transgender ideology states, “I create my own image, I can make myself to be male, female, or anything I choose.” (“Embracing God’s Design” by Walt Heyer and Jennifer Bauwens, Ph.D., Chapter 1) My Story In the 1980s, I fell for the idea that I could make myself to be female even though I am male. I took cross-sex hormones, had numerous surgeries to feminise my bodily appearance, and for 8 years, identified as Laura Jensen, female. I came to realise that none of it changed my male body into a biological female. I knew I was a fake and not really a female. Thanks to a loving church, Christian counselling, and leaning on faith, I offered my life to Jesus and Jesus offered me his divine grace. The Lord Jesus redeemed and restored my sanity. I admitted to God I had been wrong and foolish to identify as a “trans” female. I came to see that I had elevated my fake “female” self above God and family and was living a blatantly sinful and self-centred life, missing out on God’s divine grace. Today I live as the man God created me to be, bringing him honour with 40 years of sobriety, 29 years of marriage, and a ministry to others wanting to get their life back, as I did. The Body Testifies to the Truth My experience taught me that seeking relief in hormones and surgery to “transition” from one sex to the other is a false promise, a bodacious lie, and I think it’s medical fraud. No meaningful “transition” occurs. Hormones and surgery can alter appearance of the body, such as adding a faux penis or fashioning a faux vagina, but these cosmetic changes cannot override the immutable genetic sex created in the womb during fertilisation. As Dr. Paul McHugh summarises it succinctly: “Sex is not assigned by decree at birth by a parent or medical professional; it is assigned genetically at fertilisation by the pairing of sex chromosomes (XX or XY). The genetic assignment is then expressed by the development of anatomical structures (that is, genitalia).” The human body’s 30 trillion cells provide undeniable evidence of one’s sexual identity, either XX (female) or XY (male). Cross-sex hormones and surgery don’t change the DNA make-up of 30 trillion cells from one sex to the other. The bone structure differs between the sexes. For example, the pelvis has distinct differences. A woman’s pelvis is wider, shallower, and lighter, with an inlet to accommodate the delivery of babies. The male pelvis is narrower, heaver and thicker, with denser bone structure for supporting the male’s heavier upper body. A surgeon cannot fashion a female pelvis from a man’s pelvis or vice versa. Sex differences are real and true “sex reassignment” is impossible. Acknowledging the physical impossibility of changing genders matters because vulnerable people are being directed into serious harm by this false ideology. Congress Should Act Protect Children (and Help Adults) For over 11 years I have written articles like this one from 2015 about the harmful effects of administering puberty blocking drugs and cross-sex hormones to children. As an advocate for protecting children from these egregious practices, I’m a huge supporter of passing the Chloe Cole Act which would prohibit performing or facilitating “gender transition” procedures on minors, and allow those harmed to bring suit with an extended statute of limitations of 25 years beyond the minor’s eighteenth birthday. This important bill needs to be passed and signed into law. (See link at the end for how you can help.) However, the Chloe Cole act will only protect children under 18, representing only 7 to 8% of the procedures performed nationwide and leaving the other 90% who are adults like I was totally unprotected. If the procedures are harmful to individuals under age 18 then it seems reasonable to expect that harms would extend into adulthood as well. But the statute of limitations for bringing medical malpractice suits is pitifully short — in many states only two years. Extending that time limit would allow those harmed to seek redress through the courts. True Causes – Not Gender Dysphoria The diagnosis of “gender dysphoria,” or distress with one’s gender identity, given by gender clinics invariably leads to a treatment plan called “gender affirming care.” The goal of “gender affirming care” is to change the patient’s physical appearance to that of the opposite sex. The lucrative industry of gender clinics, psychologists, endocrinologists, surgeons, and hormone providers (especially Planned Parenthood) fails to consider or treat the underlying basis of the patient’s psychological distress, leaving the patient worse off. The causes of gender distress include traumatic events, mental illness, addiction, and social contagion. In my 20 years of ministry to distressed “sex change” regretters, I have received thousands of emails from individuals who tell me tragic stories about their childhood and doctors who dismissed it as irrelevant, and who instead wrongly diagnosed them with gender dysphoria and provided hormones and surgery, causing many regrettable outcomes. The people share the traumatic events in their lives: how they or a family member suffered from cancer, a parent was an alcoholic, a sibling or parent died, or they endured sexual or physical abuse. My doctor didn’t consider the abuse in my childhood and the trauma of losing my father to cancer when I was twenty, but now I see these events played a major part in driving me to erase “Walt” and escape into a female “transgender” identity. It seems like malpractice for doctors to treat psychological issues with irreversible, invasive surgeries on healthy body parts. I’m happy to see the lawsuits are underway, and those harmed are winning settlements, like Fox Varian and Camille Kiefel. If you know someone who is struggling with their gender identity, encourage them to look deeper for the cause of their distress, and above all, avoid hormones and surgery. Summary Today, with over 80 years of my life in the rear-view mirror, fully half of my life is a testimony to the power and grace of Jesus Christ to redeem and restore the most broken of lives. I can confidently say God created me in His image as male in every cell of my body, and no amount of surgery or hormones could change that.
