Author and commentator Douglas Murray dedicated a recent award acceptance speech to Israel, and the remarks are ripping through social media for the clarity most Western commentary still won’t offer.

That’s the part that should sting. This isn’t Murray speculating about hidden motives — it’s a 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚, published and broadcast by the movements behind October 7, that treats Israel as the first target and everyone else as the next one. Murray’s point is that the West keeps hearing it and keeps refusing to 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦.

He closed by dedicating the award — unnamed in the clip, but the words are his own —
