Everything you need to know about apostacy

In this post I combine all the articles that I have published on apostacy also referred to as the great departure of the faith or the great falling away.

Supporting Scriptures on Apostasy and End-Times Deception

• Matthew 24:10–12: Jesus warns that "at that time many will turn away from the faith", betray and hate each other, false prophets will arise, and "lawlessness will multiply, the love of many will grow cold".

• 1 Timothy 4:1: The Spirit explicitly states that "in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons". 

• 2 Timothy 3:1–5, 4:3–4: Paul describes difficult last days marked by people being lovers of themselves rather than God, and a time "when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear". 

• Hebrews 3:12: Believers are cautioned: "See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God".
