Six small posts below: One regarding the pope & others regarding how far some churches are willing to go to fill seats: Do we need any more proof that we live in the last part of the last days! https://www.harvestministriesnz.com/post/is-the-pope-the-false-prophet

Pope Leo XIV visited one of the world's largest mosques during his historic trip to Algeria, emphasizing the urgent need for interreligious unity amid rising global tensions.
Standing inside the mosque, the pope highlighted the shared pursuit of God and human dignity, urging people of all faiths to recognize one another and work together to build peace in a divided world.

Pope Leo XIV bestowed the Vatican’s highest diplomatic honor upon the Islamic Republic’s Ambassador, Ayatollah Mohammad Hossein Mokhtari.
The man is part of a regime that slaughtered 42,000 of its own people and imposes the death penalty on Muslims who convert to Christianity.
Catholic Bishop Fulton Sheen warned that false compassion - pity shown not the murdered but to the murderer - would ruin the West. And if there were ever a modern illustration of Sheen’s point, it may be the Vatican pinning a medal on a representative of Iran.
If only Pope Leo XIV had spent less time criticising Donald Trump and more time reading Sheen.
The pontiff - who has been an enthusiastic critic of Trump - this week awarded Iran’s ambassador to the Vatican the church’s highest diplomatic honour. Because no-one personifies ‘peace and interfaith cooperation’ like a high ranking official from the world’s chief sponsor of terror.
Mohammad Hossein Mokhtari is no ordinary diplomat.
He represents a regime that has spent decades imprisoning dissidents, crushing protests, and exporting violence across the Middle East. A regime that bankrolls Hamas, Hezbollah, and every other acronym dedicated to turning civilians into corpses.
Does the Pope believe a ribbon and a certificate transubstantiate a tyrant into a peacemaker?
Who knew that human nature could be transformed by a nice piece of metal?

A Georgia church is facing backlash after promoting its Easter service with imagery resembling the Playboy bunny logo alongside the phrase “Get some action this Easter,” sparking outrage among Christian voices online.
A former adult film star turned pastor publicly rebuked the campaign, warning that churches do not need to adopt worldly or suggestive messaging to reach people, calling the approach inappropriate for the Gospel message.

Recently Reverend Michiko Brown-Kai, who is a non-binary "minister" in the United Church of Canada, shared her joy at 12-tear-olds coming out as LGBTQ+ and challenged the church to a life of radical inclusion and emotinal support for queer yourth.

A large Southern baptist Church by the Glades, Coaral Springs, Floridan had recently a service that feartured stormtroopers and Chewbacca dancing to Beyonce's music. The "pastor" explained it this way: "The church should have a show-every weekend we should have a show. I'll tell you why. For my super spirituals right now, don't log off, because Jesus promised and Matthew's Gospel that anytime two ot three or more would gather in his name, He would show".

A female "bishop" has sparked major controversy after suggesting that the Bible has become a “problem” and proposing the creation of a new “Third Testament.”
The remarks are drawing sharp reactions across Christian communities and reigniting debate over the authority of Scripture.

FALLING AWAY: A firestorm of controversy has erupted after Baylor University approved an LGBTQ-themed campus event, marking a historic shift at the once firmly conservative Baptist institution. The event, featuring LGBTQ Christian speakers, has drawn sharp criticism from religious leaders and supporters who say it conflicts with long-standing biblical values.
