https://www.facebook.com/reel/1202076008478087 A lot of people talk about Revelation like it is some impossible book, like God gave it to confuse believers, divide churches, and keep everybody guessing. That is already a bad way to come to it. The word Revelation comes from the Greek word apokalypsis, which means unveiling. This is not God covering truth up. This is God pulling the curtain back. He is showing His servants who Jesus Christ is in glory, what kind of world we are living in, how evil will be judged, how history will end, and who will stand when it is over. Revelation is not meant to hide Christ. It is meant to reveal Him. And one reason so many people cannot read Revelation fluently is because they try to read the last book of the Bible while being weak in the first part of it. The Bible is roughly 70 percent Old Testament, and Revelation makes hundreds of allusions back into it. That is why the book feels foreign to so many people. They are trying to understand the end while neglecting the foundation God used to build it. Revelation keeps reaching back into Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Zechariah, Exodus, Joel, the Psalms, and the prophets. John is not inventing a brand new symbolic world. He is drawing together what God had already been saying for generations. So when a man says Revelation is too confusing, a lot of the time what he is really revealing is that he has not done enough study in the Scriptures Revelation is pulling from. That is also why Revelation does not mainly send you to the newspaper. It sends you back to your Bible. Then right at the front of the book, God places a blessing on it. “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” Revelation 1:3 That should settle a lot. God did not place a blessing on the reading, hearing, and keeping of a book He never intended believers to understand at all. He wants this book read. He wants it heard. He wants it obeyed. Then Jesus gives the outline of the book Himself in Revelation 1:19: “Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter.” That is the divine outline. The things which thou hast seen — the vision of the glorified Christ in chapter 1. The things which are — the seven churches in chapters 2 and 3. The things which shall be hereafter — literally, after these things, beginning in chapter 4. That structure matters because Christ Himself gave it. In Revelation 4:1, after the letters to the churches are finished, John says, “After this I looked,” and then he hears a voice like a trumpet saying, “Come up hither.” The phrase meta tauta, “after these things,” marks the transition. Chapters 1 through 3 deal with the church on earth. Then the scene shifts. A lot of believers, and I believe rightly, hear in that trumpet-like voice a preview of what Paul describes in 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17. Whether a man sees Revelation 4:1 as a direct picture of the rapture or not, the structure of the book is still plain enough. The church is central in chapters 1 through 3. Then from chapter 4 through chapter 19, the focus moves to heaven’s throne room, judgment, wrath, and the final dealings of God with the earth. Then in chapter 19, Christ returns in glory, and His saints are with Him. That lines up with Revelation 3:10: “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” That is not a light promise. The language points to being kept from the hour itself, not merely preserved inside it. Paul says the same thing from another angle when he says believers are not appointed to wrath in 1 Thessalonians 5:9. That is why the church’s absence in Revelation 6 through 19 becomes so noticeable once you read carefully. Those chapters are not describing ordinary hardship. They are describing divine wrath being poured out on a rebellious world. The church is not appointed to that wrath. But none of that means Revelation had no first-century meaning. It did. John was writing to real churches under real pressure in a real historical setting. Rome was not an irrelevant backdrop. Rome was functioning as a kind of Babylon. The seven hills imagery was known in the ancient world. The woman clothed in luxury and drunk with the blood of saints fits an empire intoxicated with power and persecution. And yes, many have pointed out the connection between 666 and Neron Kaisar through Hebrew gematria. So there is a real historical anchor there. But Rome is not the final limit of the book. Rome was one more expression of the same old rebellion. Babylon is larger than one city, one empire, or one century. Babylon is the recurring pattern of organized human pride against God. It is man building power, wealth, religion, and culture in defiance of heaven. It is the world system saying, “We will rule without God.” That spirit showed up at Babel. It showed up in ancient Babylon. It showed up in Rome. It shows up in every age. And it will show up in its final form before Christ destroys it completely. But the centre of Revelation is not Babylon. It is not the beast. It is not the dragon. It is the Lamb. One of the greatest moments in the whole book comes when John hears about the Lion of the tribe of Judah. He turns, and what he sees is a Lamb standing as though it had been slain. That is the glory of Jesus Christ. He is the Lion, and He conquered as the Lamb. He wins through sacrifice. He triumphs through the cross. He overcomes through obedience, holiness, truth, and His own blood. The world thinks power only looks like visible force, intimidation, and domination. God reveals true power in the crucified and risen Christ. That also tells believers how conquest works. The saints do not overcome by becoming beasts themselves. They do not conquer by using Babylon’s methods. They overcome by faithful witness, endurance, holiness, and loyalty to Christ even unto death. Revelation was written to steady suffering churches. Some were compromising. Some were fearful. Some were lukewarm. Some were under persecution. John’s message was that Caesar was not lord, Rome was not ultimate, Babylon would fall, and the throne in heaven was not empty. When you move through the seals, trumpets, and bowls, John is not simply giving a flat little timeline with no depth. He is showing the final drama of judgment as rebellion hardens and God answers with justice. The seals open the scroll of history under the authority of the Lamb. The trumpets sound warnings like covenant judgments, echoing Exodus while men still refuse to repent. The bowls pour out final, unmixed wrath on a world that has hardened itself fully against God. The rebellion grows darker. The judgments intensify. The justice of God is displayed without apology. Then you come to Armageddon. People use that word like it only means one modern battlefield or one news headline. But in Revelation it points to the final gathering of the kings of the earth in rebellion against God. It is the concentrated climax of human defiance. The nations gather against the Lamb, and the outcome is never in doubt. Christ does not barely survive the conflict. Heaven does not scrape together a narrow victory. The King appears, speaks, and crushes His enemies. The sword from His mouth shows His authority. His word is enough. Then Revelation 20 gives the thousand-year reign, Satan’s binding, the vindication of the saints, the final revolt, and the last judgment. Even after a thousand years, when rebellion is given one final opening, fallen man still proves what he is apart from grace. Then judgment falls, and death and hell are cast into the lake of fire. Death itself is judged. And then comes the end every believer longs for. A new heaven and a new earth. No more curse. No more tears. No more mourning. No more pain. No more night. No more death. The holy city descends as a bride adorned for her husband. God dwells with His people. The river of life flows. The tree of life appears again. The Lamb is the light. What was lost in Eden is not merely patched up. It is brought to full and eternal fulfillment in Christ. That is where the whole Bible has been going. Revelation is not some strange appendix for people obsessed with prophecy charts. It is the capstone of the whole story. It shows the final defeat of the serpent, the overthrow of Babylon, the vindication of the saints, the reign of Christ, the removal of the curse, and the eternal dwelling of God with His people. And the invitation at the end is still open: “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come… And let him that is athirst come.” Revelation 22:17 That call is still going out right now. So when you read Revelation, do not read it like it is meant to keep you in fear. Read it as the unveiling of Jesus Christ. Read it as the exposure of Babylon. Read it as the comfort of suffering saints. Read it as the certainty that every beastly kingdom has an expiration date. Every Babylon will fall. Every proud empire will collapse. Every enemy of Christ will be put down. And Jesus Christ will return, visibly, bodily, gloriously, to rule and reign. So hold fast. Keep the words of this prophecy. Do not bow to the spirit of the age. Do not get drunk on Babylon. Do not panic when evil looks strong. The throne is occupied. The Lamb has already won. And the King is coming. “Surely I come quickly.” Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

PASTORS, PLEASE STOP MISUSING “NO MAN KNOWS THE DAY OR HOUR”: Matthew 24:36 says: “But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” That verse gets thrown around constantly whenever the rapture comes up. Someone starts talking about the catching away of the Church, and right away somebody says, “Well, no man knows the day or hour.” Amen. The verse is true. But please stop using it out of context. Matthew 24 is not Paul’s rapture doctrine. Matthew 24 is the Olivet Discourse. Jesus is answering questions about the temple, His coming, and the end of the age. Matthew 24:3 gives the frame: “Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” That chapter is filled with tribulation and Second Coming language. Jesus talks about the abomination of desolation, Judaea fleeing, the Sabbath, great tribulation, false christs, cosmic signs, the Son of man coming in the clouds, and angels gathering the elect. That is not the same scene Paul gives in 1 Thessalonians 4, where the Lord descends, the dead in Christ rise, and believers are caught up together to meet the Lord in the air. Matthew 24 is public, visible, judgment-connected, and tied to Israel, Jerusalem, and the tribulation. The rapture is the blessed hope of the Church. Now someone may say, “But the Second Coming is seven years after the covenant in Daniel 9, so wouldn’t they know the day?” Not exactly. Daniel gives the prophetic structure of the final week. The covenant is confirmed for one week. In the middle of the week, sacrifice and offering cease. That gives the framework. But Jesus still said no one knows the day or hour. That means the tribulation generation will be able to know the season. They will know the signs. They will know the abomination of desolation marks the final half. They will know they are near when they see the things Jesus described. But the exact day and hour of His appearing still belongs to the Father. Matthew 24:22 even says those days will be shortened for the elect’s sake. Daniel 12 also gives additional day counts of 1,290 and 1,335 days, which shows there are details around the close of that period that are more layered than simply saying, “Start the stopwatch and circle the date.” And then people bring up the other part of the verse: “No man knows… no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” Some will say, “See, Jesus didn’t know. Only the Father knew.” Be careful with that argument. Jesus is not a created being. He is not less than the Father in deity. He is God the Son in human flesh. John 1:1 says: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Colossians 2:9 says: “For in him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” So Matthew 24:36 cannot mean Jesus stopped being God or lacked divine nature. It means that in His earthly ministry, the Son lived in perfect submission to the Father. He humbled Himself, took on true humanity, and functioned according to the Father’s will. Philippians 2:7 says He “made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant.” That is the key. Jesus did not cease to be God. He did not become less divine. He voluntarily entered real humanity and did not operate independently from the Father’s appointed will. The same Jesus who said that also knew men’s thoughts, told the woman at the well her life, predicted His death and resurrection, described the future destruction of Jerusalem, and laid out the end-time sequence in Matthew 24. So the issue is not weakness in His deity. It is submission in His humanity. The Son was not ignorant like a sinner. He was obedient like the perfect Servant. Matthew 24:36 belongs in Matthew 24. It is about the day and hour of the Son of man coming in glory after the tribulation. Jesus was not telling the Church to ignore the blessed hope. He was not shutting down rapture teaching. He was not saying all prophecy study is pointless. And He definitely was not giving pastors a quick verse to flatten every discussion about the catching away. The rapture and the Second Coming are connected in God’s prophetic program, but they are not the same event. One is Christ coming for His Church. The other is Christ coming with power and great glory to judge the nations, rescue Israel, and establish His kingdom. So pastors, please handle the verse carefully. “No man knows the day or hour” is Scripture. Using it to erase the difference between the rapture and the Second Coming is not. And using it to deny the deity of Christ is even worse.

Tattoos are normal now. Today people get tattoos of art, memories, family, loss, Scripture, crosses, names, symbols, and sometimes just because they thought it looked cool at the time. So the question is not, “Are tattoos popular?” They are. The real question is: What does the Bible actually say? The main verse people go to is Leviticus 19:28: “Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.” That is the clearest verse in Scripture connected to tattoo markings. The context is important. God is separating Israel from the pagan nations around them. These nations had practices connected to mourning the dead, idol worship, superstition, occult religion, and marking the body as part of pagan devotion. Israel was not supposed to look like the nations. They belonged to the LORD. That is why the verse ends with: “I am the LORD.” God was telling Israel, “You are Mine. Do not copy the pagan world around you.” Now we need to be honest with the text. The New Testament does not give the Church a direct command that says, “Thou shalt not get a tattoo.” We are not Israel under the Mosaic covenant at Sinai. So we should be careful about grabbing one verse from Leviticus, applying it flatly to every believer today, and then ignoring the rest of the chapter. But Christian liberty is not a license to be stupid. Just because the New Testament does not directly forbid something does not mean a believer should run straight into it without thinking. The question is not only, “Can I?” The better question is, “Should I?” Will it glorify God? Will it honor my body as belonging to the Lord? Will it help my testimony or hurt it? Am I doing this out of rebellion, pride, vanity, pain, impulse, attention-seeking, or pressure from people around me? Can I do it in faith with a clean conscience before God? Romans 14:23 says: “whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” That means if your conscience is not clear and you do it anyway, you are already in trouble. First Corinthians 6:19–20 says your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost and that you are bought with a price. That does not mean every tattoo automatically defiles the temple. But it does mean your body is not yours to decorate, display, or brand any way you want without caring what God thinks. First Corinthians 10:31 gives the larger rule: “Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God.” That includes what you put on your body. So is every tattoo automatically sinful? I do not believe Scripture gives us enough to say that. Can a tattoo be sinful? Absolutely. If it is rooted in rebellion, it is sin. If a child or teenager gets one against their parents’ command, it is sin because Ephesians 6 tells children to obey their parents. If it promotes lust, profanity, violence, occult symbols, false religion, pride, worldliness, or a life God saved you out of, then yes, there is a problem. If the motive is vanity, attention, rebellion, or trying to build an identity apart from Christ, that is not freedom. That is flesh. But ink by itself is not stronger than grace. Some believers already have tattoos from before they were saved. Some have marks from a past life, old pain, bad decisions, dead relationships, addiction, anger, rebellion, or seasons they are not proud of anymore. Here is the good news: Your old ink is not stronger than the blood of Jesus Christ. God does not need clean skin to give a man a clean heart. If you already have tattoos, bring your whole life under the Lordship of Christ and move forward. Do not live in shame over what Jesus already paid for. But if you are thinking about getting one now, slow down. Pray. Think long-term. Ask what it will say when you are older. Ask whether it points to Christ or just points back to you. Ask whether it helps your witness or muddies it. Ask whether you can honestly do it before God without twisting Scripture to excuse what your conscience is already warning you about. The Bible does not give the Church a simple New Testament command that says, “Never get a tattoo.” But it does command believers to belong to God completely. Body included. So the real question is not just. .“Can I get one?” The better question is, “Can I honestly do this for the glory of God?

It doesn’t always attack from the outside— it works from within. It is called Jezebel. Not just a historical figure… but a spiritual influence that still operates today. 𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐉𝐄𝐙𝐄𝐁𝐄𝐋? Jezebel was a queen in Israel, but more importantly, she was a carrier of a corrupting influence. “𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑎𝑛𝑦𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝐴ℎ𝑎𝑏, 𝑤ℎ𝑜 𝑠𝑜𝑙𝑑 ℎ𝑖𝑚𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑓 𝑡𝑜 𝑑𝑜 𝑒𝑣𝑖𝑙… 𝑢𝑟𝑔𝑒𝑑 𝑜𝑛 𝑏𝑦 𝐽𝑒𝑧𝑒𝑏𝑒𝑙 ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑤𝑖𝑓𝑒.” — 1 𝐾𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 21:25 She promoted: Idolatry over worship Control over surrender Seduction over holiness And her greatest weapon? Influence without authority. THE SPIRIT OF CONTROL The Jezebel spirit does not trust God—it must control outcomes, people, and environments. It operates through: Domination in relationships Emotional pressure and intimidation Fear-based manipulation Instead of leading through truth, it forces through control. But Scripture reminds us: God leads—He does not manipulate. THE SPIRIT OF MANIPULATION Manipulation is witchcraft in disguise. “For rebellion is as the sin of divination…” — 1 Samuel 15:23 Jezebel manipulates by: Twisting truth Playing victim Using guilt to gain power It creates confusion, making wrong appear right and right appear extreme. This is how truth becomes blurred—and compromise begins. THE SPIRIT OF SEDUCTION This is where Jezebel is most dangerous. Not just physical seduction— but spiritual compromise. In the New Testament, the same spirit appears again: “You tolerate that woman Jezebel… by her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality…” — Revelation 2:20 Seduction here means: Drawing believers away from purity Normalizing sin Making compromise feel acceptable It whispers: “It’s not that serious.” “God understands.” “You deserve this.” But behind that whisper… is destruction. WHY THIS SPIRIT TARGETS LEADERS AND BELIEVERS Jezebel doesn’t attack randomly. It targets: Those with influence Those walking in calling Those pursuing holiness Why? Because if it can silence your voice… it can stop God’s work through you. Just like Elijah—after calling down fire from heaven— was threatened into fear and isolation. One voice of intimidation nearly silenced a prophet. HOW DO WE OVERCOME? God does not leave us powerless. 1. Discern the Spirit Not everything that feels spiritual is from God. Test: The fruit The motive The outcome 2. Stand in Truth Jezebel thrives where truth is compromised. Truth breaks manipulation. 3. Walk in Authority, Not Emotion Do not respond emotionally—respond spiritually. Stay grounded in the Word Stay submitted to God Stay led by the Holy Spirit 4. Refuse to Tolerate What God Condemns “You tolerate that woman Jezebel…” — Revelation 2:20 Tolerance of evil opens doors for destruction. FINAL WORD: THIS IS A WAR FOR YOUR SOUL This is not just about a person… it is about a spiritual battle for control over hearts and minds. The Jezebel spirit wants: Your attention Your compromise Your silence But God is raising a generation that will: Speak truth boldly Walk in purity Reject manipulation DECLARATION You are not called to be controlled. You are not called to be manipulated. You are not called to compromise. You are called to walk in truth, authority, and freedom. CALL TO ACTION If this opened your eyes, share this. In a courtroom, a witness will describe what they’ve seen and they will state plainly what they know to be true from their direct experience. They don’t have to say “how” a thing happened, or explain “why” something they saw is so. They just say it as they know it. And it is entered as evidence. In the gospels, we never see Jesus in the process of figuring out truth. He just states it plainly. Neither does he spend a lot of time trying to prove Himself or prove His claims. It is often said that He “spoke with authority” – and that is seen in the way He simply stated the truth He knew. He is being a witness. “…we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen…” (John 3:11) He was a witness to God and to the truth, whether or not He proved it with argument. He was a witness as soon as He simply declared what He knew it in His words and conducted Himself accordingly. At His ascension, Jesus said, “You will be my witnesses… to the end of the earth.” Don’t underestimate the power of mere witness. If your life is the life of a disciple of Jesus Christ, it is witnessing. If your words are true to what you know or have experienced, that is witnessing. This is what Jesus asks of you, and this is what He did. Tell people you’re a Christian. Conduct yourself in a manner worthy of Christ. Say what you know to be true. The Scandal That Shattered Conservative Discernment When popular voices abandon truth for obsession and conspiracy, Christians face a sobering test of discernment, courage, and fidelity to Christ over celebrity. Let me start by saying this: Like millions of other conservatives and Christians, I once quite liked what both Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson were saying and doing. But over the past year or two, both have gone off the deep end, big time – not least of which, their virulent and irrational Jew-hatred. So now I can no longer support them. Instead, all we can do is pray for them. I hope they come back to their senses and leave off their psychotic hatred and lying. Here, I will mostly focus on Candace, who may be the worst of the pair. It is impossible to keep up with all the bizarre, unhinged and demented claims that she is making of late. It seems every day, a new zinger is unleashed by her. And regrettably, her hordes of undiscerning fans lap it all up. Worse yet, that includes so many Christians who appear to have abandoned discernment and simply imbibe whatever she happens to say. We now almost need book-length assessments just to cover all the baseless, completely false claims she makes. And all her brainless groupies say: ‘Yes Queen Candace, keep speaking truth and keep asking questions! We love, worship and adore you! You are so brave, so wise, and so perfect!’ Indeed, let’s just cut to the quick: Candace killed Charlie Kirk so she could marry Erika and take over TPUSA. If you believe any of the other nonsense she espouses, you might as well believe this. Sadly, Candace is now serving deception rather than truth. Thankfully, Frank Turek is one of many who have openly spoken out against the many things Owens has been saying. The only thing worse than cult leader Candace is the legion of her dedicated and deluded cult followers – including all the ‘Christians’ and ‘conservatives’ who cannot get enough of her and her unhinged bilge. This brings us to the deeper issue beneath the outrage: Scripture has long warned us about precisely this pattern. Biblical Warnings Against Deception Scripture does speak to all this. When you read the Pastoral Epistles especially, you see certain passages jumping out at you, especially in light of these recent events. This pair (who more or less claim to somehow be Christians) has stirred up more hatred, division and confusion in the Body of Christ and in the conservative movement than anyone else I know of. The original biblical writers like Paul may not have had Candace and Tucker in mind when they wrote these things, but they certainly seem to apply. Consider just five relevant passages – and there would be many more that could be mentioned. Here is one: When folks like Candace and Tucker and their legions of committed devotees keep saying, “We are just asking questions”, you can only shake your head and say, “Yeah, right”. I am reminded of 2 Timothy 3:7: “Always learning and listening to anybody who will teach them, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Paul’s warning is not about curiosity, but about a posture that resists truth while pretending humility. And given all the disunity, division and turmoil this pair is causing, the many other warnings Paul gives about these things must be taken seriously as well. Here are four more such passages: “Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels… God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil…” ~ 2 Timothy 2:23-26“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching… and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” ~ 2 Timothy 4:3-4“As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia… certain persons, by swerving from these, have wandered away into vain discussion… without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make confident assertions.” ~ 1 Timothy 1:3-7“But avoid foolish controversies… As for a person who stirs up division… have nothing more to do with him…” ~ Titus 3:9-11 Each of these passages highlights the same pattern: arrogance masquerading as insight, and division justified as courage. Bear in mind that the key signs of a cult are deception, lies, and divisiveness. An arrogant and narcissistic leader who must always be seen as being right is another hallmark of a cult. The shocking thing is how many people who claim to be Christians seem to belong to the biggest cult in America right now – the Candace and Tucker cults. I pray that they repent, get saved, and have a thorough spiritual transformation. And to be honest, those believers who are their dedicated devotees and zealous groupies also need to repent. They bring shame and scandal on the name of Christ and the cause of the kingdom. In August last year, he told journalists that he hoped, maybe, ending wars around the world might help him to sneak into heaven. Parsing Memes Like Encyclicals With all that background, I was pretty surprised when otherwise intelligent people interpreted Trump’s ‘Jesus’ meme as a boast that He was equivalent to our Lord and Saviour. This is the man whose rhetorical style falls somewhere between stand-up comedy and a bar fight. And now we’re parsing his memes as if they were encyclicals. If he was depicting himself as Jesus, it was clearly a joke. Trump is actually quite well known for his jokes. Isn’t that one of the Left’s major problems with Trump? That he is baboonish and inappropriate? But it seemed pretty obvious he was depicting himself as the Pope, not Jesus. Trump v the Pope The meme came right after a very public spat with the Pope, who had criticised Trump’s war with Iran. The Pope had claimed that war is never right, which would certainly have been news to Moses, and Gideon, and Samson, and Deborah, and David. The Pope also claimed that God will never bless those who pick up the sword, which would certainly have been news to the Apostle Paul, who wrote that God gives governments the sword so that they can deal with injustice and evil.
