š« "You can't be a Christian and be oppressed by a demon."
I hear this constantly.
āļø And I get why it's comforting.
But here's the thing nobody wants to talk about:Ā š³ the Bible never actually says that.
What it doesĀ say is that your spiritāthe deepest part of youāis sealed by the Holy Spirit when you believe (Ephesians 1:13-14).
šThat's untouchable territory.
But your soul?Ā Your mind, will, and emotions?
āļø That's the battlefield.
Think of it like a house.
Jesus owns the deed.
But that doesn't mean every room is clean.
Some rooms have squatters who got in through open doors
trauma
unforgiveness
generational patterns
occult involvement
Deliverance isn't about questioning your salvation.
It's about evicting what doesn't belong so you can actually liveĀ in the freedom Christ already bought.
š The question isn't "Can Christians have demons?"
š¢ The better question is:
"Are there areas of my life where I'm not experiencing the freedom Jesus promised?"
