Why is Antisemitism flaring up?

I am posting this article in response to recent attacks on a Jewish restaurant & synagogue in Melbourne. How timely that we as pastors on behalf of Harvest Church Caloundra sent an email to every synagogue in Australia containing the following words:

" Dear Jewish friends

We sent a message of moral support before, but in the light of all recent events,

I would like to reaffirm that our support as a church for Israel, 

the Jewish Community worldwide, in Australia & Brisbane is unwavering.

We do not agree with the stand or lack thereof of the Australian Government.

We want you to know that you are not standing alone. "
