The whole world will turn against Israel

The Bible doesn’t say Israel will merely be unpopular.

It says the nations will gather against her.

That includes the United States too.

I know that bothers people because America has historically been one of Israel’s strongest allies. I’m thankful for every moment this nation has stood with Israel. But prophecy doesn’t bow to American pride. If Scripture says “all nations,” then America doesn’t get a special exemption because we have flags, speeches, and a few pro-Israel politicians.

Zechariah says:

“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about… And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people…”

Zechariah 12:2-3

Jerusalem becomes the issue the world can’t solve, can’t lift, can’t ignore, and can’t leave alone.

Then Zechariah gets even sharper:

“For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle…”

Zechariah 14:2

All nations.

Not some.

Not just the Middle East.

Not just Israel’s obvious enemies.

All nations.

Joel says the same thing:

“I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat…”

Joel 3:2

And God gives the reason. They scattered His people, divided His land, and treated Israel like a political problem instead of recognizing that God Himself made covenant promises concerning that land and that people.

That doesn’t mean modern Israel is spiritually righteous. The Bible is clear that national Israel still needs repentance and still needs to recognize Jesus Christ as Messiah.

But it does mean the nations don’t get to rewrite God’s covenants.

They don’t get to divide what God promised.

They don’t get to sit in judgment over Jerusalem like they own it.

The world thinks it’ll be judging Israel.

Scripture says God will be drawing the nations into judgment.

Revelation shows the same final gathering:

“And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.”

Revelation 16:16

The Bible gives this picture plainly.

Israel becomes isolated.

Jerusalem becomes the obsession of the nations.

The world gathers against her.

And yes, unless America repents and lines up with God’s Word, the United States is included in “all nations.”

And Zechariah tells us how it ends:

“Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.”

Zechariah 14:3

The nations come against Israel.

The LORD comes against the nations.

That’s the part the diplomats, kings, presidents, globalists, and prophecy mockers keep forgetting.

Jerusalem is not just real estate.

Israel is not just politics.

And God is not asking the nations for permission.
