Manufacturing these massive turbines requires enormous amounts of energy, steel, concrete, rare earth minerals, and fossil fuels. The upfront carbon footprint is huge.

Then diesel trucks and ships haul these behemoths across the country and oceans. More emissions.

When the wind doesn't blow (which is often), we still need fossil fuel backups.

After 20-25 years? The blades, made of non-recyclable composites, pile up in landfills by the thousands. They're buried as toxic waste that lasts centuries.

And on top of all that environmental failure, these ugly carbuncles scar and ruin beautiful landscapes wherever they're forced upon us, industrial eyesores spinning away while delivering unreliable, expensive power. All this "green" tech never truly pays back its own environmental debt in any meaningful way for the average person.
