The 75 Day Gap in Daniel

THE 75 DAYS AFTER THE TRIBULATION:

Most prophecy charts stop at the end of Daniel’s 70th week.

Daniel doesn’t.

The second half of the Tribulation is 1,260 days. Revelation calls it 42 months and “a time, and times, and half a time.”

Then Daniel gives us two more numbers.

 “And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.  Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days."

Daniel 12:11–12

That means Scripture takes us 75 days beyond the 1,260 days.

1,260 to 1,290 = 30 days.

1,290 to 1,335 = 45 more days.

Those numbers are there for a reason.

Christ returns, destroys the armies gathered against Jerusalem, and the Antichrist and False Prophet are cast into the lake of fire. Satan is bound. Yet before the Millennial Kingdom is fully established, Scripture shows judgment and separation taking place.

Matthew 25 describes Christ separating the nations as a shepherd divides sheep from goats.

Ezekiel 20 describes Israel being brought under the rod, with rebels purged out.

Daniel then says the man who reaches the 1,335th day is blessed.

That sounds like arrival.

The Tribulation is over.

Judgment has been carried out.

The King is on the throne.

Those who remain enter the promised Kingdom.

Exactly what occurs on every one of those 75 days isn’t spelled out for us.

What God did give us is the timetable.

1,260 days.

Then 30.

Then 45.

Then blessing.

Daniel’s prophecy doesn’t end with Armageddon.

It carries us right to the doorstep of the Kingdom.
