I can highly recommend this mini-documentary about this "Soldier of light"
Very inspirational to continue pressing on in the high call, may not as spectacular or dangerous as this brother, but nevertheless also important.
Most families would do everything possible to stay away from a war. Christian and Ashley Hickey moved toward one—with their five children beside them.
SOLDIERS OF LIGHT follows a former U.S. Marine, Green Beret, and police officer whose years of service prepared him for an entirely new mission.
Answering what they believed was God’s call, Christian and Ashley relocated their family to Ukraine after Russia’s full-scale invasion.
Guided by a Ukrainian military chaplain, Christian travels toward the front lines to deliver humanitarian aid and medical supplies, distribute audio Bibles, encourage local churches, and share the Gospel with soldiers and civilians.
His military experience also allows him to help train Ukrainian volunteers, many of whom entered the fight with no prior military background.
