Satan’s Plan: One World Religion and Government

Satan does not primarily work through atheism. He works through religion.

Why?

Because religion is the most efficient system ever designed for capturing a human being’s genuine, God-given impulse to worship – and redirecting it toward a substitute.

This is not a new strategy. It is the oldest strategy in human history. And it has a name:

Babel.

“Come, let us build for ourselves a city, and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let us make for ourselves a name.” – Genesis 11:4

The Tower of Babel was not a secular construction project. It was a religious project. A human-engineered, institutionally organized, centrally administered attempt to build a pathway to the divine on humanity’s own terms.

And when God scattered the nations at Babel, the Babylonian religious DNA – the priestly class, the merit-based divine favour system, the institutional certification of acceptability, the human-constructed pathway to heaven – went with every scattered nation.

This is why ancient Sumer, Egypt, Greece, Rome, Babylon, and China all independently developed strikingly parallel religious structures.

Not coincidence. Common administration by the fallen spiritual powers assigned to the nations (Deuteronomy 32:8-9).

Satan has been trying to reassemble what God scattered ever since.

Every significant empire in human history – Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome, the Holy Roman Empire, Nazi Germany, the United Nations – is another iteration of the Tower whose top will reach into heaven.

Another attempt at one world, one government, one religion, under one ruler who is not Jesus Christ.

And the Bible tells us exactly where this ends:

“…and on her forehead a name was written, a mystery, ‘BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.’” – Revelation 17:5

The Whore of Babylon – the mother of every false religious system in human history – riding the Beast system into the Great Tribulation.

And then the Antichrist.

“The man of lawlessness… who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.”

– 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4

This is what the enemy has been building toward since Isaiah 14.

One world. One government. One religion. Under one ruler who demands the worship that belongs to the absolutely good God alone.

Now here is the part that the Great Basin Region needs to hear:

Mystery Babylon is not only a future Tribulation phenomenon.

The spirit of Babylon – the institutional merit-based divine favour system with its priestly class, its temple access requirements, its performance-based certification of acceptability, its additional scripture that supplements the closed canon, its living human authority who speaks for God – is operational in this territory right now.

And when the Harpazo removes the born-again believers from this territory, that ready-made institutional infrastructure will be the vehicle through which the Antichrist’s one-world system extends into the Great Basin Region.

This is not condemnation of the people inside that system. They are the specific, named, beloved people the Father is calling out:

“Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues.” – Revelation 18:4

COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE.

Not into another performance system. Not into a different institutional certification program. Into the specific, TETELESTAI-grounded, nothing-left-to-add freedom of the Cross – where the only covering that actually works was provided by the only One who could provide it.

The tower always falls.

The Cross always stands.

Satan’s plan is almost complete.

The stone cut without human hands is coming.

Come out of her.

Stand firm on the Cross.

Come, Lord Jesus.
