Who are we?

You might have noticed that there are no pictures of pastors & leadership & pictures of "entertainment" & activities etc. on our Website.

This is for the following reasons:

1) Our website & messages on YouTube are very clear in what we believe & stand for & this should be the only reason besides the Lord leading you to Harvest why you want to come.

2) It is my view (the Lord convicted me about this a while ago) that it is irrelevant how the pastors & leadership look like.   1 Samuel 16:7b: The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

3) We are here only to glorify Jesus & not ourselves, a pastor is a servant & the church is the "vehicle" in the kingdom. They should always point to & draw attention to the Gift Giver & not the gifts, or the building & activities themselves.

4) I know we are bucking a popular trend, but a church is not a Travel agency, Car dealership or Real Estate business (with some you wonder if it is about the house or themselves) or worse an Entertainment Centre or a show:

John 3:27 "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven"

John 3:30 "He must increase but I must decrease"

What are we?

1) First of all: What are we not:  We are not a denomination or part of a denomination, hence you will not find any "label" besides Christian on our media pages.

As a student of history I understand how they came about & this was necessary to move away from from false doctrines & move closer towards Biblical truth.

2) But looking at it objectively through a pure Biblical lens, denominations are not Biblical & as such are not according God's perfect will.

3) We do believe though in strong ties, relationships, connections, friendships, covering & accountability within the Body of Christ.

4) But Biblically speaking there are no Pentecostal, Baptist, Evangelical, Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian, Lutheran etc Christians, only Born again Christians who are a new creation in Christ Jesus.

5) I actually developed a dislike for denominations, as they are very similar to government: everything they touch slows down, and much of it ends in control, power-play, strive, competition , bureaucracy & red tape.
