I long for real Christianity....

The future of the Australian church may belong to smaller, more serious, deeply formed communities rather than broad cultural Christianity built on shallow affiliation.
Communities where believers actually know one another.
Confess sin.
Study deeply.
Pray seriously.
Practice hospitality.
Bear burdens.
Raise children intentionally.
Live differently from the surrounding culture.
The collapse of nominal Christianity may force the church back toward actual discipleship.
The churches most likely to survive the coming decades will probably be the ones capable of forming Christians who are:
Theologically deep.
Emotionally healthy.
Politically thoughtful.
Culturally aware.
Spiritually humble.
Grounded in Scripture.
And radically committed to Christ above party.
Because when persecution becomes more intense, spiritual house build on shallowness will lose members or possibly collapse.
