Besides the prophetic part of the Scriptures, which is about 30% of the whole Bible, there has also been warnings from secular writers, regarding the times we are living in. They were maybe given insight by God, even though they were not Christians, to warn people who would never think of picking up an Bible. Of course James Orwell is one of the most famous one, but there many others.
