Many of us might remember various movies or series from about 10-15 years ago, which we thought then was really Science Fiction & far fetched, inspired by Hollywood's script writers having a large & vivid imagination of reality.
There have been various testimonies of stuntmen & actors that have left the Hollywood scene, that the CIA has a large influence in the themes & scriptwriting. Whether this is true or not we don't know with 100% certainty, but they definitely getting very close to the things we see now around us & start lining up with Biblical End time doctrines & eschatology.
I have never watched the series X-files myself, but this content of this particular Episode is uncanny, realistic & applicable in regards to what we see around us now, not just in the US but world wide!
