God's warning always come before Judgement

The world has always believed it had more time.

In Noah's day, people built houses, raised families, worked, traded, celebrated, and planned for tomorrow. Life continued as though God's warning would never become reality.

But while the world ignored God's Word, one man believed it.

Noah did not build the ark because he saw rain clouds.

He built it because he believed God.

The tragedy of Noah's generation was not that they lacked a warning.

The tragedy was that they refused to believe it.

 "By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith."

— Hebrews 11:7

 A World That Ignored God's Warning

The Bible tells us that God looked upon the earth and saw violence, corruption, and wickedness filling every corner of society.

Judgment was not God's first response.

Warning was.

God revealed His coming judgment to Noah and instructed him to prepare an ark. Year after year, as the ark was being built, Noah's obedience stood as a visible testimony that God's Word was true.

Every board placed on that ark declared the same message:

God has spoken. Judgment is coming. There is still time to respond.

Yet the world carried on as though nothing would ever change.

When the flood finally came, it was not because God failed to warn them.

It was because they ignored His warning.

 Noah Believed What Others Rejected

Hebrews 11:7 tells us that Noah was "warned of God of things not seen as yet."

Noah had never experienced a worldwide flood.

He had no visible proof before his eyes.

His faith rested entirely upon the Word of God.

That is what biblical faith has always been.

It trusts what God has said, even before human eyes see the outcome.

While others mocked, Noah obeyed.

While others delayed, Noah prepared.

While others trusted tomorrow, Noah trusted God.

The difference between Noah and his generation was not intelligence.

It was faith.

 God's Character Has Never Changed

Throughout Scripture, God consistently reveals His judgments before they fall.

Before the Flood, He warned Noah.

Before Sodom's destruction, He warned Lot.

Before Nineveh's destruction, He sent Jonah to preach repentance.

God is both holy and longsuffering.

He is patient, but His patience should never be mistaken for indifference.

The delay of judgment is not proof that judgment will never come.

It is evidence of God's mercy, giving sinners an opportunity to respond while they still can.

 Today's Generation Is Also Being Warned

The Flood was a historical judgment, but it also reminds us of an unchanging truth:

God keeps His Word.

Just as the people of Noah's day dismissed God's warning, many today dismiss the Bible's warnings about future judgment.

Some laugh.

Some postpone.

Some assume there will always be another opportunity.

But no one knows when their earthly life will end.

The wisest response is not to delay.

The wisest response is to believe God while His offer of salvation is still extended.

 The Greatest Mistake Noah's Generation Made

Their greatest mistake was not building the wrong house.

It was rejecting God's Word.

They trusted their own reasoning instead of the One who knows the end from the beginning.

The same danger exists today.

Many people trust religion, morality, good works, or simply hope everything will turn out well in the end.

But the Bible points us to only one sufficient provision for salvation.

Just as God provided one ark for Noah's family, He has provided one Saviour for the world.

 God's Greatest Provision Is Jesus Christ

The ark saved Noah's family from the Flood.

Jesus Christ saves sinners from the penalty of sin.

The Bible declares the Gospel plainly:

Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried, and He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:1–4).

Salvation is not earned through good works, religious rituals, or personal effort.

It is the free gift of God's grace, received by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

The same God who warned before the Flood now offers salvation through His Son.

Do not make the mistake of Noah's generation by ignoring God's Word.

Believe the Gospel today. Trust Jesus Christ alone, who died for your sins, was buried, and rose again. God's offer of grace is available now—but it should never be taken for granted.

One day, God's warnings will give way to the fulfilment of His Word.

Today is the day to believe.
