The Bible keeps showing the same thing:

God’s timing is perfect.

Noah built the ark before the rain ever fell.

Abraham waited until his body was old and Sarah’s womb was past hope, then Isaac came at the appointed time.

“At the time appointed I will return unto thee… and Sarah shall have a son.”

Genesis 18:14

Joseph was sold, lied on, forgotten in prison, then lifted up in one day because Pharaoh had a dream right before the famine hit.

Moses was born under a death sentence, hidden in a basket, raised in Pharaoh’s house, trained in the wilderness, then sent back when Israel’s cry reached heaven.

The Passover lamb was slain at the right time.

The Red Sea opened when Israel had Pharaoh behind them and water in front of them.

Manna came in the morning.

Water came from the rock when they were thirsty.

Jericho fell after the seventh day, on the seventh trip, at the shout.

Rahab’s house was spared when judgment hit the city.

Ruth “happened” to glean in Boaz’s field, but heaven was moving the bloodline of Christ into place.

Hannah wept for a child, then Samuel was born right when Israel needed a prophet.

David was anointed long before he was crowned. The delay wasn’t wasted. The shepherd field, the lion, the bear, Goliath, Saul, and the caves were all training.

Elijah was fed by ravens when the brook still had water.

The widow had her last handful of meal, and God sent Elijah before the barrel ran dry.

Fire fell on Carmel at the time of the evening sacrifice.

Rain came again after Elijah prayed.

Jonah was in the belly of the great fish three days and three nights, pointing forward to Christ.

Esther was already in the palace before Haman’s wicked plan came out.

“Who knows whether you have come come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Esther 4:14

Daniel was shown a timeline for Messiah before Jesus ever came.

Cyrus was named before he was even born.

Bethlehem was prophesied before Mary ever carried Jesus.

Then Caesar called for a tax, and the whole world moved just to get Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem on time.

Simeon came into the temple by the Spirit the same day baby Jesus was brought in.

Anna showed up too.

John the Baptist came before Christ to prepare the way.

Jesus kept saying His hour had not yet come.

Then when the hour came, nobody could stop it.

He rode into Jerusalem when Scripture said He would.

He died on Passover as the Lamb of God.

He rose on the third day, just like He said.

“But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son…”

Galatians 4:4

“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.”

Romans 5:6

Lazarus got sick, and Jesus waited.

To everyone watching, it looked too late.

To Jesus, it was right on time.

Four days in the grave made sure nobody could call it medicine, luck, or coincidence.

Then Jesus cried:

“Lazarus, come forth.”

John 11:43

Pentecost came on the exact feast day when Jews from every nation were gathered in Jerusalem.

The Holy Ghost fell right on time.

Philip met the Ethiopian eunuch at the exact moment that man was reading Isaiah 53.

Cornelius was praying while Peter was seeing the vision.

Paul and Silas were singing at midnight when the prison shook.

Paul’s shipwreck landed him on the island where God already had people waiting to hear.

Over and over, Scripture keeps proving it.

The ark was ready before the flood.

The ram was caught before Abraham lifted the knife.

Joseph was in Egypt before the famine.

Moses was prepared before the exodus.

Rahab had the scarlet cord before Jericho fell.

Ruth met Boaz before David was born.

Esther had the crown before the crisis.

Mary reached Bethlehem before Jesus was born.

The Lamb died when Passover came.

The grave opened on the third day.

God moves on time.

So don’t mistake waiting for abandonment.

Don’t mistake silence for absence.

Don’t mistake delay for denial.

God sees the whole board.

He knows what He’s building.

He knows who He’s preparing.

He knows what needs to happen before the door opens.

And when the time is right, no devil, king, prison, sea, grave, or stone can stop Him.

God moves on time.

Always has.

Always will.
