Kevin Shipp Shares Why True Christians Cannot Be Controlled.

Former CIA officer Kevin Shipp recently told :

“Christians are the only ones who can’t be controlled.”

He explained that genuine Christians answer first to God, not governments, agencies, or powerful institutions. Because their loyalty is rooted in biblical conviction, threats, incentives, and blackmail often fail to break their resolve.

Shipp pointed to the Soviet Union, where communist leaders could pressure many people into compliance but often struggled to silence devoted believers.

Many Christians were imprisoned in gulags because their faith made them unwilling to surrender their convictions.

After 17 years in the CIA, Shipp says he witnessed how influential systems often view strong Christian faith as a challenge to complete obedience.

In a culture constantly demanding conformity, he believes authentic faith remains one of the strongest forms of resistance.
