There are 3 recent events in the Middle East that are certainly worth further looking:

1) Trump's plan to evacuate Gaza & rebuild it. At first glance most see it & negate it is one of the many "out of the box" plans from Trump. But is it? Read the this prophetic scripture below:

Zephaniah 2:4-7 New King James Version

For Gaza shall be forsaken, And Ashkelon desolate; They shall drive out Ashdod at noonday, And Ekron shall be uprooted.Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, The nation of the Cherethites! The word of the Lord is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: “I will destroy you; So there shall be no inhabitant.” The seacoast shall be pastures, With shelters for shepherds and folds for flocks. The coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; They shall feed their flocks there; In the houses of Ashkelon they shall lie down at evening. For the Lord their God will intervene[b] for them, And return their captives.

2) The recent attacks from Israel & the US on Iran's nuclear & military facilities. The prophecy below indicates that the wicked leadership of Iran will be punished, but also at the same time there will be salvation (Christian Revival?) in Elam. (The OT name for Iran / Persia)

Jeremiah 49:34-39 New King James Version

34 The word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, 35 “Thus says the Lord of hosts:

‘Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, The foremost of their might.36 Against Elam I will bring the four winds From the four quarters of heaven, And scatter them toward all those winds; There shall be no nations where the outcasts of Elam will not go.37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies And before those who seek their life. I will bring disaster upon them, My fierce anger,’ says the Lord; ‘And I will send the sword after them Until I have consumed them.38 I will set My throne in Elam, And will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says the Lord.

39 ‘But it shall come to pass in the latter days: I will bring back the captives of Elam,’ says the Lord.”

3) The recent attacks on Damascus by Israel in order to protect their "brothers" the Druze Community in Southern Syria. Will this lead to the destruction of Damascus?

(The Druze people consider themselves descendants of Jethro, the father-in-law of Moses, and they also revere him as their chief prophet and spiritual founder)

Jeremiah 49:23-27 New King James Version

23 Against Damascus.

“Hamath and Arpad are shamed, For they have heard bad news. They are fainthearted; There is trouble on the sea; It cannot be quiet.24 Damascus has grown feeble; She turns to flee, And fear has seized her. Anguish and sorrows have taken her like a woman in labor.25 Why is the city of praise not deserted, the city of My joy?26 Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, And all the men of war shall be cut off in that day,” says the Lord of hosts.27 “I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, And it shall consume the palaces of Ben-Hadad.”

Isaiah 17:1-3 New King James Version

17 The burden against Damascus.

“Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, And it will be a ruinous heap. The cities of Aroer are forsaken; They will be for flocks Which lie down, and no one will make them afraid. The fortress also will cease from Ephraim, The kingdom from Damascus, And the remnant of Syria; They will be as the glory of the children of Israel,” Says the Lord of hosts.
