2023–2026: The Heavens, the Earth, and the Biblical Clock

 Something changed in Tishrei 5784.

On Shemini Atzeret / Simchat Torah in Israel—October 7, 2023—Israel suffered the deadliest attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust.

The annual Torah-reading cycle was ending... and beginning again.

What followed was not an isolated conflict. The war expanded across the region—Hezbollah, the Houthis, Iran, the United States, and eventually direct confrontation between Israel and Iran itself.

And during that same period, something remarkable began unfolding in the heavens.

Not one isolated eclipse. Not one random planetary alignment.

A sequence.

A repeated intersection between celestial events, world events, and the Hebrew calendar stretching from 5784 through 5786, and into the Fall Feasts of 5787.

The Gregorian calendar is just ink on a page. But the Hebrew calendar is a divine clock, built directly into the mechanics of the solar system. Because every biblical month begins on a New Moon and peaks on a Full Moon, eclipses are mathematically tethered to the appointed times (Mo’edim).

When we look at 2023 to 2026, we aren't just seeing statistical anomalies—we are seeing the majestic design of Genesis 1:14 converging with modern history.

Here is the timeline of that convergence.

 5784 — THE CORRIDOR OPENS

 Shemini Atzeret / Simchat Torah: The attack on Israel begins.  7 Days Later: An Annular “Ring of Fire” Solar Eclipse.

Then the pattern begins tightening around the biblical months.

 Shushan Purim: A Lunar Eclipse falls directly in the season of deliverance from ancient Persia.

 Nisan: The Great North American Total Solar Eclipse marks the first month of the biblical year. Days later, Iran (Persia) launches its first massive direct drone-and-missile attack against Israel from Iranian territory.

This spring connection reminds us why we need to be careful with overly neat prophecy charts that say, “Passover fulfilled. Unleavened Bread fulfilled. Firstfruits fulfilled. Shavuot fulfilled.

Now we simply wait for the Autumn Feasts.”

Scripture itself is more layered than that.

There isn't even only one biblical expression of Firstfruits.

There is the first sheaf of the barley harvest.

There are the firstfruits associated with Shavuot.

There are the bikkurim brought from the produce of the Land.

And the Brit Chadashah (New Covenant) continues that layered imagery: Jesus / Yeshua is the Firstfruits of the resurrection. We have the firstfruits of the Spirit. Believers themselves can be described with firstfruits language.

So Messiah's resurrection truly fulfills Firstfruits—but that does not mean every biblical dimension of the firstfruits pattern has been exhausted.

The same is true of Shavuot. Acts 2 absolutely matters. The Ruach HaKodesh was poured out at Shavuot. But the prophets also describe a coming world in which Torah goes forth from Zion, the Spirit is poured out, and the earth is filled with the knowledge of Adonai. We aren't there yet.

So perhaps the better biblical pattern is not:

fulfilled → finished → forgotten.

It is: inaugurated → unfolding → consummated.

And while all of that was unfolding prophetically, the celestial sequence continued.

 15 Elul 5784: A Lunar Eclipse right in the month of teshuvah—repentance and return.

 Rosh Hashanah / Yom Teruah: An Annular Solar Eclipse intersects another major turning point on the Hebrew calendar.

 5785 — THE BLOOD MOONS

Then the pattern intensifies. The story moves from proxies to Persia itself, and the sky mirrors the escalation.

 Purim: Total Lunar Eclipse (Blood Moon). Once again: Purim. Persia. Israel. Deliverance.

 Nisan: A Solar Eclipse again intersects the opening of the biblical first month.

 Elul: Another Total Lunar Eclipse (Blood Moon) in the season of repentance.

 5786 — THE CONVERGENCE REACHES ITS PEAK

 Rosh Chodesh Adar: The month containing Purim opens beneath an Annular Solar Eclipse, while six planets gather across the sky.

 Purim: Another Total Lunar Eclipse (Blood Moon). Again: Purim. Israel. Persia. Deliverance.

Then the celestial sequence moves toward the Fall appointed times.

 Erev Rosh Chodesh Elul: A Total Solar Eclipse occurs immediately before Rosh Chodesh Elul begins at sundown. At essentially the same celestial window, the Perseid Meteor Shower peaks, and another six-planet gathering stretches across the pre-dawn sky.

 15 Elul: A Deep Partial Lunar Eclipse right in the middle of the month associated with repentance, introspection, and return.

And that brings us toward the Autumn Feasts.

 YOM TERUAH — THE AWAKENING BLAST Yom Teruah occurs at the beginning of Tishrei—the new moon. Anciently, you watched for it. You knew the season was approaching.

Yeshua said, “But concerning that day and hour no one knows…” (Matthew 24:36). But Paul explicitly connects Messiah's coming with trumpet imagery (1 Thess 4, 1 Cor 15) and tells believers they "are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you like a thief" (1 Thess 5:4). Yom Teruah is literally the appointed time of the awakening blast. The trumpet announces. The trumpet awakens. The trumpet gathers. We do not know the day or the hour, but we are absolutely commanded to watch the season.

YOM KIPPUR — NOT ANOTHER ATONEMENT If Jesu / Yeshua offered Himself once for all, a future prophetic fulfilment of Yom Kippur cannot mean He returns and somehow atones again. The sacrifice has already been offered. So what is the future dimension? Zechariah gives us a powerful picture: "They will look on Me whom they pierced." Mourning. Repentance. Cleansing. The removal of the partial hardening Paul describes in Romans 11. Not another sacrifice, but the public recognition and application of the atonement already accomplished.

 SUKKOT 5787 — THE INGATHERING As Sukkot begins, Neptune reaches opposition. Neptune takes 165 Earth years to complete one orbit around the Sun. It is an extraordinarily slow-moving, completely independent hand on this celestial clock. It does not follow the Hebrew leap-year cycle. Yet here, at the culmination of this 2023–2026 sequence, Neptune's opposition intersects the opening of Sukkot.

Then, the Harvest Moon illuminates the first full day of Sukkot.

Sukkot is the Feast of Ingathering. Harvest. Rejoicing. The King dwelling with His people. This is where the biblical story has always been going (Rev 21:3, Zechariah 14). Its deepest prophetic reality still points forward: The harvest gathered. The nations coming to Jerusalem. The King reigning.

 AND THEN THE PATTERN CHANGES

Now look again at the different clocks converging through this entire period:

 Lunar cycles

 Solar and eclipse cycles

 Meteor streams

 Planetary movements

 Neptune moving through a 165-year orbit

 The Hebrew calendar

 Israel

 Persia

 The appointed times of Adonai

These systems are not one mechanical clock. And yet from Shemini Atzeret / Simchat Torah 5784 through the Fall Feasts of 5787, they have repeatedly crossed one another.

Move into 2027 and astronomy obviously continues. But this particular synchronization doesn't continue. The Blood Moon sequence disappears. The eclipses move away from the same Hebrew-calendar intersections. The planetary relationships drift. The extraordinary concentration we have been watching separates again.

I am not saying "nothing happens after 2026," and I am certainly not setting a date for Jesus / Yeshua's return. For all we know, nothing happens in the way any of us expect.

The point is that something unusual has undeniably been unfolding across several consecutive Hebrew years, and the observable pattern reaches an extraordinary concentration as we approach the Fall appointed times.

We do not know the day. We do not know the hour.

But we know what Israel's prophets promised. And we know exactly what Jesus / Yeshua told us to do:  WATCH.
