- In The Last Days, People Will Ignore Prophetic Warnings
What a violent culture we live in today. Violent crimes are sweeping the world. In many countries people are afraid to go out on the streets at night. Jesus said that things would be increasingly wicked in the last days, and the climate of the time prior to His return would be similar to the climate of the time during Noah’s life. So what was it like in Noah’s time? Are there any distinguishing characteristics that parallel our own? In Noah’s day two sins predominated: excessive violence and sexual perversion. Genesis 6:5 , speaking of Noah’s time, says, “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” There were other characteristics of Noah’s day as well. Jesus said, “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” ( Matthew 24:38–39 ). We might paraphrase this statement by saying it was business as usual. Noah was building a massive ark without a body of water nearby. There hadn’t even been rain on earth at that point. But Noah faithfully followed the directions God had given him. And as the years went by, he kept on with the job God called him to. No doubt people thought of Noah as some sort of crackpot. Jesus was saying that in the last days, people also will ignore prophetic warnings. They’ll disregard the clear message of God to them. For the most part it will be business as usual. People will go on with their day-to-day activities. What It All Means However, the writing is on the wall for anyone who will pay attention. And just as Noah was mocked, followers of Jesus will be mocked as well, because that, too, is a sign of the last days. People today laugh at the concept of Bible prophecy and the return of Christ, but one day their mockery will cease and their laughter will stop when Jesus fulfils His words. He is coming back. According to Scripture, there is a generation that will not see death. Instead they will be removed from the face of the earth in what is known as the rapture of the church. This is what Jesus was referring to when He said: “Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left” ( Matthew 24:40–41 ). Instantaneously millions of believers from around the globe will be caught up into God’s presence. This is spoken of elsewhere in the Bible as well. Paul wrote: “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” ( 1 Corinthians 15:51–52 ). And John wrote: “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is” ( 1 John 3:2 ). A Happy Anticipation Christ is coming for His church, and He said: “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also” ( John 14:2–3 ). In the original language, the phrase “come and get you” implies seizing by force. That is exactly what Jesus will do. He will return and take His people into His presence. Are you ready ? Are you ready for His return? Are you looking for it? It means being ready to meet Him. It means living in anticipation of the return of Christ. To put it another way, it means that you shouldn’t be doing things that would hinder your spiritual life. The teaching of the return of Christ should serve as a motivator, as a comfort to you. As John said, “And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure” ( 1 John 3:3 ). There are two ways of looking at the Lord’s coming: a looking for it and looking at it. It is possible to look at it with keen intellect and a profound interest, and yet have it mean nothing to us personally. It is also possible to know but little of the theology of the subject, and yet have a deep and holy longing for the Lord to appear. May this theme be not only our study but also our personal hope. It isn’t just intellectually saying, “I know Christ will come again.” Rather, it’s looking for and welcoming His return. And if there’s anything in our lives that should be changed, anything that is not right with God, we should deal with it now.
- Understanding God as Creator is foundational
As a young man in High School in the Netherlands I was also taught "Evolution Theory" & "Darwinism". But somehow this never stuck with me & didn't make sense even though I was certainly not a Christian at that time. I was amazed at the things I saw growing up on a farm. Seeing the geese flying over in V-formation, coming from Scandinavia flying south to the South of France or even as far as Spain in order to survive the winter. How did they know what to do? This is one of the many examples I saw & pondered on. Sadly many churches, Bible Schools & Seminaries have interpreted the Creation Narrative symbolically & no longer believe in a literal 6 day Creation & relatively young earth. If we move away from this foundational teaching, then we are on a slippery slope as it is key to understanding & believing God & the Scriptures as a whole ! https://www.facebook.com/reel/1192160488677784
- Why is the "West" so naive about Islam?
I remember when we were pastoring from 1995-2000 a church plant in Maastricht, the Netherlands, we saw then already how Islam was trying to gain dominion. Having been taught by Derek prince on the dangers of Islam, we clearly saw the warning signs already then, but very few were listening. The Lord Jesus Christ died for all sinners, religious & non-religious, but at the same time believers & especially pastors need to be "watchmen" & warn people & the nation about oncoming danger. I have shared the Gospel myself with many Muslims myself with passion & love. But warning against the dangers of this religion is not "Islamophobia", but our sacred duty. https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?tab=rm&ogbl#inbox?projector=1
- The double standards are outrageous!!!
The below 3 memes speak a thousand words. Are you also fed up with the hypocrisy from the political left?
- Why The Majority Choose To Be Oblivious To The State Of Our World
The many distractions of modern life keep the majority of people oblivious to the dangers of our fallen world. However, a world of turmoil, violence, and lawlessness in this world sadly, is a view that most people choose to ignore or simply cannot see. The View The conflict in the Middle East is just one of many hotspots that could quickly easily explode into the next world war. I hear threats of impending nuclear warfare almost every day. The debt level in the U.S & many other countries, passed the dollar mark which we can not even pronounce, with almost all of the money collected from individual tax returns needed to cover just the interest for it. I cannot explain how we could reach such a mark without it completely obliterating our economies. As it is, we have an inflation rate that’s significantly higher than what the governments are willing to admit, one that’s severely hurting most families. The deception and gaslighting of our day are off the charts. The book of Revelation tells me that it will get worse once the antichrist arrives on the scene, but that’s more than I can comprehend at the moment. Lawlessness and violence have become commonplace across the globe. Protestors fill our streets in support of the most demonic, despicable, and horrendous terrorist group imaginable. Why the tolerance for demonstrators calling for the elimination of Israel as a nation and the death of all Jews? Smartphones are merely symptomatic of how easily we can become addicted to modern life with its pleasures, entertainment, sports, and travel. There’s nothing wrong with these things by themselves as long as they don’t keep our focus inside the train and anesthetized to the perils outside the window. The Comfort I couldn’t endure all that I see happening apart from the Bible which tells me about Jesus and my hope of His imminent appearing. He is the sum total of my security and hope for tomorrow. Sometimes, my morning quiet times end with my arms wrapped around my Bible. I hug the words of Scripture because they alone comfort and encourage me when I look beyond the peaceful scenes of my neighbourhood. I’m grieved by churches that tell us that matters of Bible prophecy are tertiary, or those of lesser importance than other matters of faith. This assertion defies a realistic view of our current world, which screams with the message that Bible prophecy is of the utmost importance for our time. Believers today desperately need to hear what the Bible says about the future. It’s not debatable, not even close. Bible prophecy is most certainly not a tertiary matter. The passion that keeps me writing is that of offering hope to the saints in these last days. I don’t know how much longer we have until we meet Jesus in the air, but all the signs tell us that the sudden destruction that will mark the start of the Day of the Lord will soon fall on an unsuspecting world, people too distracted to view the chaos of our world. Our hope does not rest in politics or in getting the right person elected. The church will fail us; we dare not place our hope in it or in the Lord somehow subduing the evil around us through it. That’s not the purpose of the church. We are the body of Christ; we are not a kingdom that will succeed in bringing peace to the world. God’s Word tells us that evil and violence will increase in the days before Jesus’ return, just as we now see happening. Believers who possess the discernment of a biblical worldview, one bathed in Bible prophecy, see the world for what it is. We know that the devil’s domination of the nations will continue until Jesus’ all-glorious and spectacular Second Coming. The distractions are many; I know all too well how easily they can take my eyes off the prize of the pre-Tribulation Rapture.
- When will Russia invade Israel?
THERE IS no doubt that Russia is to invade Israel in the Last Days and that she will do this in association with four Muslim countries actually named in Ezekiel chapter 38. But there is some confusion among some Bible teachers as to when this invasion will occur. Some teach that the Russian invasion could occur before the Rapture, others teach that it will occur in the first half of the Tribulation while others place it at the end of the seven years of the Tribulation at the time of the battle of Armageddon. If we rightly divide the Word of Truth there can be absolutely no doubt that the Russian invasion must occur in the first half of the Tribulation. It Cannot Occur at the End of the Tribulation It cannot occur at the end of the Tribulation because only five nation s are involved in the Russian-led invasion whereas the battle of Armageddon at the end of the Tribulation involves ALL nations (Compare Joel 3:2 with Ezek.38:1-6). The Russian invasion is led by Gog the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal (Russia) whereas the battle of Armageddon is led by the Beast (Antichrist) who is the leader of the Revived Roman Empire. The Russian invasion concludes with the land of Magog (Russia) being burned and 1/6 of the invading army will escape to Siberia (Joel 2:20) whereas none of the invading armies that attack Jerusalem in the Battle of Armageddon will escape. They, together with Antichrist will be all destroyed and cast into the lake of fire (Dan.7:11, Rev.19:20). Israel must be a converted nation waiting for Messiah to return when Jesus comes (Isa.25:9) at the end of the Tribulation. At the beginning of the Tribulation there will be 144,000 Jews preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom “in all the world”. They are the “firstfruits” of the nation and will be persecuted by fellow Jews at first (Matt.10:16-23). The 144,000 are all martyred by the mid-point of the Tribulation and are in heaven around the throne in Rev.14. Israel is converted at the time of the Russian invasion (Ezek.39:22-29) and in the midst of the Tribulation, Israel will be singing praises “from the utmost parts of the earth” (Isa.24:16) and will give thanks for having “a refuge from the storm ” (Isa.25:4). If the Russian invasion was the battle of Armageddon then Israel would not sing praises during the Tribulation. It will be too late for anybody, Jew or Gentile, to repent when Christ returns “ in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God” (2Thess.1:8). During the Tribulation Israel will have great victories over her enemies “ like a torch in a sheaf ” (Zech 12:6). This cannot happen while she is rejecting Messiah. The Palestinian Covenant promises victories only when Israel seeks the Lord (Deut.30:1-10). It Cannot Occur BEFORE the Rapture i) If the Russian invasion must occur before the Rapture that would remove the doctrine of imminence. We should be looking for the Russian invasion and not the Lord to call Christians home. The Bible clearly teaches that nobody knows the day or hour when the Son of man will come. The angels don’t know and even Jesus does not know when the Rapture will happen (Mark 13:32). ii) When the Russian invasion occurs “the whole house of Israel” receives mercy from the Lord (Ezek.39:25; Jer.31:34). If this occurred before the Rapture every Jew would be raptured and there would be no Jews here for the Tribulation but the whole purpose of the Tribulation is to bring Israel to repentance. Israel cannot reign with Christ in the Kingdom while unrepentant. iii) The Tribulation is the “ Time of Jacob’s trouble ” but if they are saved before the Rapture they would become part of the Gentile Church and there would be no Jews here for the Tribulation! The Tribulation is determined upon Jerusalem and Daniel’s people i.e. the Jews (Dan.9:24) therefore Israel cannot turn to the Lord BEFORE the Rapture. Acts 15:14 tells us that God will “visit the Gentiles” to “take out of them a people for His name” BEFORE the Lord returns to rebuild Israel. We cannot mix the Church Age with Israel’s 70th “week”. It MUST occur BEFORE Antichrist begins to Reign at the Mid-point of the Tribulation a) The Book of Revelation is a chronological outline of the events occurring during the seven years of the Tribulation from chapter 4 to chapter 18. Chapters 6 to 9 describe the first half when the seal and trumpet judgments are poured out and chapters 10 to 14 describe events occurring at the mid point while chapters 15 to 18 describe the “seven last plagues” (Rev.15:1) which are the seven Vial (Bowl) judgments. At the mid-point of the seven years Satan is cast down from heaven to the earth (Rev.12:12) and Antichrist is demon possessed. Antichrist reigns for 42 months (Rev.13:5). Then at the mid-point of the Tribulation, Satan is wroth with Israel and persecutes those who “keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ ” (Rev.12:17). Daniel describes this: “Therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many” (Dan.11:44). Since Israel has the testimony of Jesus Christ when the Beast takes universal control, Israel must be converted before the mid-point of the Tribulation! b) During the second half of the Tribulation God will provide protection for Israel from the attacks of Antichrist. Isaiah speaks of this: “Come, my people, enter your chambers , and shut thy doors behind you: hide yourself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation is past . For, behold, the LORD comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth” (Isa. 26:20-21). John wrote about this in Rev.12:6. He states that Israel would flee from Jerusalem when Antichrist moved into the Temple. She would go into the wilderness, where she “where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days ” (Rev.12:6, 14). Jesus told Israel in the Olivet Discourse that when they saw the “abomination of desolation…stand in the holy place…then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains” (Matt.24:15-16). Somewhere in the Judean wilderness there are caves “ prepared of God ” where redeemed Israel will be able to find refuge from the attacks of Antichrist for the last 1,260 days before the Lord returns. God would not be providing a place of refuge for Israel if they were still rejecting His beloved Son and Antichrist would not be attacking Israel if they were not repentant. At the time of the Rapture Israel makes a covenant with Antichrist as the head of the EU and the reason for his hatred at the mid-point is because Israel has turned to Jesus Christ. Therefore the Russian invasion must occur in the first half of the Tribulation. The 144,000 Jewish men from the 12 tribes of Israel will no doubt be responsible for leading Israel to seek the Lord in the first half of the Tribulation and Joel prophesied that when the “ northern army ” comes into the land like a plague of locusts, that “THEN will the Lord be zealous for His land, and pity His people” (Joel2:18). Furthermore it is when the “northern army” is removed that God pours out His Spirit upon the nation (Joel 2:28). This conversion of Israel will be accompanied by “wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE the great and terrible day of the Lord come (Joel2:30-31). These signs occur at the Russian invasion which is the 6th seal Judgment (Ezek,38:19-23; Rev.6:12-14). And after this Joel describes the battle of Armageddon and the second advent of Christ: “For behold in t hose days , and in that time , when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will ALSO gather all nations, and will bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and will enter into judgement with them there on account my people …” (Joel3:1-2). Chapter three of Joel’s prophecy describes the second half of the Tribulation and the return of Christ “immediately after” the Tribulation (Joel 3:15-16) so it is perfectly clear that the conversion of Israel that occurs when Russia invades must be BEFORE the second half of the Tribulation. In the first half of the Tribulation God deals with Israel and brings them to repentance but in the second half He judges the nations.
- Why on earth do you believe you have to go through the Great Tribulation?
Yes it does say in the Scriptures we have to go through all kinds of testing, trial & tribulations. Also the Lord Jesus says that he sent out his disciples as sheep among wolves & warned us that in this world we have troubles. But that is not referring to the Great Tribulation! But it doesn't say anywhere that we as born again believers in the Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ, the Son of God, will have to go through 3 series of plagues, which is clearly defined as the period of God's Wrath on this earth & the gentile nations & bring the Jewish people as a nation back to Him & repentance. Yes you can stubbornly hold on to "Israel Replacement Theology" & "Dominion Theology". But please believe the Scriptures what it says, not reading what you believe I am over hearing the stereotype arguments of the anti Pre-Trib crowd: *All you guys want is to escape - Do you want to stay here on this corrupted earth? *Rapture believing Christians are passive, they don't fight for righteous in society- That might be true for some, but you got passive , lazy Christians in any denomination or doctrinal flavour. *It all started with Darby & Scofield. Nonsense it started with Apostle Paul in the letters to the church in Thessaloniki. Please read these Scriptures (Amplified Bible) & notes from one of my messages on this topic below: Ten confirmations that the snatching away (rapture) of the church will happen before the Antichrist is revealed & the 3 series of plagues in Revelation 1- He will keep us from the hour of trial Revelation 3:10 Because you have kept the word of My endurance [My command to persevere], I will keep you [safe] from the hour of trial, that hour which is about to come on the whole [inhabited] world, to test those who live on the earth. 2- We are not destined to suffer wrath 1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God has not destined us to [incur His] wrath [that is, He did not select us to condemn us], but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 3- The Antichrist is being restrained till the appointed time 2 Thessalonians 2:5-7 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I was telling you these things? 6 And you know what restrains him now [from being revealed]; it is so that he will be revealed at his own [appointed] time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness [rebellion against divine authority and the coming reign of lawlessness] is already at work; [but it is restrained] only until he who now restrains it is taken out of the way. 4- What must take place after this..... Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a [war] trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.” 5- Rescues us from the coming wrath 1 Thessalonians 1:10 and to [look forward and confidently] wait for [the coming of] His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead—Jesus, who [personally] rescues us from the coming wrath [and draws us to Himself, granting us all the privileges and rewards of a new life with Him]. 6- Escape all the things that are going to take place Luke 21:36 36But keep alert at all times [be attentive and ready], praying that you may have the strength and ability [to be found worthy and] to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man [at His coming].” 7- The body of Christ, His Church will face the judgement seat of Christ, not the great day of His wrath Revelation 6:17 for the great day of their wrath and vengeance and retribution has come, and who is able to [face God and] stand [before the wrath of the Lamb]?” 8- The location of the seven lampstands (churches) indicates that they are not any longer on earth A) The lampstands are here on earth Revelation 1:20 As for the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the angels (divine messengers) of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches. B) The lamps (indwelt by the Holy Spirit) are in heaven in front of the throne Revelation 4:5 From the throne came flashes of lightning and [rumbling] sounds and peals of thunder. Seven lamps of fire were burning in front of the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God; C) The divine outline in Revelation *Write the things you have seen, (The Vision of Christ, Ch 1) and *the things which are, (The 7 churches, Ch 2 & 3) and *the things which will take place after this; (Which follows after the churches; Ch 4-22) *The word is “Meta Tauta” meaning “hereafter”, or “after these things (Revelation 4:1) 9- Will believers in Christ mourn when he comes back? Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes (nations) of the earth will mourn over Him [realizing their sin and guilt, and anticipating the coming wrath]. So it is to be. Amen. All born again, Spirit filled believers will long for & welcome His appearing! 2 Timothy 4:8 In the future there is reserved for me the [victor’s] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right], which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that [great] day—and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved and longed for and welcomed His appearing. Hebrews 9:28 so Christ, having been offered once and once for all to bear [as a burden] the sins of many, will appear a second time [when he returns to earth], not to deal with sin, but to bring salvation to those who are eagerly and confidently waiting for Him. 10- The word church is not any longer mentioned after Revelation 4 & the titles of Christ change Revelation 1-3 has over 24 titles for the Lord Jesus Christ, but none of these are distinctly Jewish. But starting from Ch 4 the titles of Christ change, they become distinctly Jewish: e.g. The Lion of the tribe of Judah, Root of David, The Lamb
- If The Lord Is A Zionist, Believers In God’s Word Ought To Be Also
The God of this universe is a Zionist, and, therefore, the question I have for you is simply: Are you? If you’re not, you are heading on a collision course with God, and you will have to give an account one day of what you did or didn’t do to “the least of these” Jesus’ brothers and sisters, the Jewish people. If God is a Zionist, we ought to be! Now, maybe you’re wondering, “ What is Zionism?” Very simply, it means that you identify that the Jewish people have a right to return to their ancestral homeland. Douglas Murray, a British author, conservative political commentator, journalist, and solid advocate for Israel and the Jewish people, laid out Zionism very well in a recent Munk Debate in Toronto, Canada. Here are just a few highlights of what he said in that debate: You would’ve thought after an attack like the one that Hamas instigated that started this terrible war, [there] would be some sympathy from the world. You might have thought the world would pay attention to the attack and at least pay attention to the people behind it. You might have expected, like me, that there might have been a worldwide opposition to the terrorists, rapists, and murderers of Hamas. You might have thought there would be hatred around the world erupting that the government of Qatar and its mouthpiece, Al Jazeera, [are] funding Hamas and hosting the leadership of Hamas in Qatar. You might have thought there would have been an outpouring of rage at the Islamic Revolutionary government of Tehran. But, no. There was an immediate outpouring of rage against the State that had been attacked. Douglas went on to say: The interesting thing about antisemitism is, as my late friend Jonathan Sacks said, it’s a shape-shifting virus. It moves across the centuries. When you could hate people for their religion, the Jews were hated for their religion. Then, you couldn’t hate people for that anymore, so people hated the Jews for their race. Then, after that, in the 20th century, people realized that wasn’t a great idea either. Now, Jews are hated, not for their religion or their race, but for having a state. People around the world hate them so much for it that Israelis are attacked when they have hostages taken, and they’re also attacked when they rescue their hostages. The interesting thing about antisemitism is the Jews can never win because, historically, they’ve been hated for being rich and for being poor. They’ve been hated for integrating and for not integrating. They were hated for being stateless; now, they’re hated for having a state. Today, the only really acceptable form of antisemitism, aside from the far-right, is anti-Zionism. Zionism is simply the right of the Jews to self-determination in their historic homeland—that’s all. He continued: Antisemitism is double standards against Jewish people or cruel and unfair treatment of people because they are Jews. This isn’t very far away from here. If this isn’t antisemitism, can the audience here tell me why the following things have happened since October 7th? Why in a Montreal suburb was a synagogue firebombed, as happened in November, and gunshots against a yeshiva? Why in Toronto was a bookstore owned by a Jew attacked? Why was a Molotov cocktail thrown through a Jewish community center in Montreal? Why was a Toronto Jewish deli in North York firebombed? Why in Toronto was the Orthodox synagogue vandalized? Why in Toronto did two men open fire the other week on a Jewish girls’ school? One question hovers over all of it above all—the question of who would protect the Jews. Who would you trust to protect them? The Europeans? The Arab world? No, history shows only one people protect the Jewish people: the Jewish people. That’s what Zionism is. Well said, Doug! In the end, the most important thing to consider is whether or not God is a Zionist. We must look to His Word, and there we will find that it is God Himself who has chosen Zion, the land of Israel, to put his name forever. That’s what we read in Psalm 132:13-14 , “For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.” Seeing that God owns the land, He can give it to whomever He wants, and God has given it to the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as an everlasting possession. Even though God had scattered the Jewish people to the four corners of the Earth because of their disobedience to Him, His word is very clear that He would also regather them back in the latter days—the days in which we are living. One day, when the kingdom comes, when Israel’s Messiah Returns, the law will go forth out of Zion to the world. The pre-eminence is going to shift from the Gentiles to the Jewish people as their Messiah, Jesus, is going to be ruling and reigning on the throne of His father David for a thousand years. Isaiah 2:2-4 states, “Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the Lord’s house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it. Many people shall come and say, ‘Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.’ For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into ploughshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.” There you have it. God is a Zionist, and He’s also jealous for Zion with a great jealousy—simply read Zachariah chapter one. He’s jealous for His people and He’s regathering them back to the land He has given them right before our very eyes. As Douglas Murray pointed out, anti-Zionism is antisemitism. You cannot separate the two. Therefore, the question is, friends, what side of history do you want to be on? Even Douglas Murray, who didn’t point to the Bible, can clearly see that the Jewish people have a right to return to their ancestral Homeland. He also stated that it is only the Jewish people who will protect the Jews. I’ll go one step further. It’s not the Jewish people that are going to protect themselves, but it’s the God of this universe that is ultimately going to protect the Jewish people. Jeremiah 31: 35-36 reads, “Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar (The Lord of hosts is His name): ‘If those ordinances depart From before Me, says the Lord, Then the seed of Israel shall also cease From being a nation before Me forever.'” As long as the sun, moon, and stars are shining in the sky, Israel will not cease from being a nation before Him forever. Again, I ask, what side of history do you want to be on? I trust you want to be on the side of history that lines up with God’s passions and God’s love. He has an everlasting love for Israel and the Jewish people. Continue to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. The Jewish people need our prayers more than ever. If they ever needed a friend, now is the time. As believers in God’s Word, we ought to stand, support, and love Israel and the Jewish people. We need to be pro-Zionists. We need to be Christian Zionists who come alongside them every chance we get against those who hate them. Psalm 129:5 says, “Let all those who hate Zion be put to shame and turned back.” May it be said of us Believers that we love Zion.

- State sponsored immorality
Sexual immorality is often promoted under the guise of "liberalism." Today, all forms of debauched behaviour are presented as freedom from that stuffy, archaic moral rigidity left over from our grandparents’ generation, as though outdated morals are all that’s at stake. But what if that steady march of “progress” under the banner of “moral liberation” is leading us somewhere else? Somewhere that even the staunchest progressive wouldn’t necessarily want to end up? What if the prize at the end of the road isn’t freedom after all? What if it’s the exact opposite? That is a question R.J. Rushdoony addressed in a chapter of his book titled, The Foundation of Social Order: Studies in the Creeds and Councils of the Early Church. In the piece, Rushdoony explains that a means by which the power state, or budding tyrannical governments, increase in power over the populous, is by maintaining a perpetual state of guilt. Not the sort of guilt that would drive a sinner to Christ for the forgiveness of his sins, but a guilt with no end, a guilt with no relief. It’s the sort of guilt that makes a man, not only feel guilty for indulging in vice, but guilty for experiencing that natural sense of guilt that arises. As such, we have a generation or more whose first response to an unsettled conscience is not to properly deal with their guilt, but to prop up distractions that seemingly help to divert the mind’s attention. The guilt remains, but only in the back of the mind. The sin is never dealt with, and that’s the point. Fearful men are weak men, and few things terrify a man more than the public airing of their dirty laundry. Children might be scared of monsters under the bed, but it’s the adults who are terrified of the skeletons in the closet. Conscious or otherwise, it is this fear that shackles the mind and enfeebles the man. And for the tyrant-in-waiting, his job is half-done through the peoples’ self-inflicted, mental enslavement through fear and never-ceasing guilt. Rushdoony explains: "The power state has a stake in perpetuating sin because guilty men are slaves. A man with a guilty conscience is not a free man; he is in bondage, and his life will reveal his inner slavery. More than a few wives have on occasion tried quietly to push their husbands into adultery in the knowledge that a guilty man is less independent and less confident in making a state in terms of his rightful authority and responsibility. As Shakespeare’s Hamlet observed, ‘Conscience does make cowards of us all.’ "The effects of a bad conscience are enslaving. The power state therefore works to promote immorality as though it were a necessary aspect of human liberty, and to destroy Christianity, in order to eliminate the remedy for sin, the relief and healing for an enslaved conscience. "Without the liberating power of Christianity, the forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ, there is no possibility of overthrowing tyranny. The gospel of the tyrant state becomes the assertion that liberty is license to sin, and slavery is the liberty of moral self-government. "In every such state, the courts and schools decree and interpret liberty as freedom from morality. The people are deluded into believing they are a more free people because they now possess a licence to fornicate, to commit adultery, indulge in perversions freely, and read pornography. "Meanwhile, as the people wallow in this ‘new freedom,’ the state rapidly extends its powers over the people, over family life, economics, education, business, labor, and agriculture, over the churches, art, science, and all things else. "The promulgation of the idea that sexual and moral irresponsibility is liberty is thus the usual and necessary prelude to the destruction of liberty and the rise of statism. The ‘new freedom’ produces the old slavery."
- Women in ministry?
1 Corinthians 14:34-35 Amplified Bible The women should be silent in the churches, for they are not authorized to speak, but are to take a subordinate place, as the Law says. If there is anything they want to learn [that is, if they have questions about anything being said or taught], they are to ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to talk in church. This is such a hot potato in the church world, plagued by extremes from both sides. As he deals with the issue of order, Paul next says something in the above Scripture that needs clarification: This is a passage that has been misused, and it is widely misunderstood. It’s important to understand that among the Greeks, women were discouraged from speaking in public generally anyway. That was the Greek culture of the time. More importantly, first-century women were generally uneducated and illiterate. The word λαλέω - laleō - is used 244 times in the New Testament for “to speak.” It has nothing to do with public speaking or with teaching or prophesying. It appears that the Corinthian women were causing disruption by their constant talking. Remember, Paul is addressing the problem of disorder in the Corinthian church. In the first century, women generally sat on one side and men sat on the other, and women would have had to shout across the room to talk to their husbands. Paul says that if they had questions, they needed to ask their husbands at home rather than interrupting in the congregation. If you’ve ever been to Israel and watch a Jewish family talking, they sound like they’re arguing. It’s said that if you have two Jews in a room, you have three opinions. I’m kidding, but there was a reality of disorder in the Corinthian church. The Bible is clear that women will be filled with the Spirit of God to prophesy and to do the work of the ministry. Paul assumes that women will prophesy. Joel 2:28 mentions both men and women as recipients of God’s outpouring in the last days. Priscilla, the wife of Aquila, was a teacher and fellow worker with Paul. She and her husband had a church in their house, and both Priscilla and Aquila worked together to bring Apollos up to speed on doctrinal issues. She must have been a great asset to the apostles and highly respected because she is mentioned first along with her husband. We find in Acts 21:9 that Philip the evangelist had four virgin daughters who prophesied. Considering the young age at which women were married in those times, this meant that these were not adult women prophesying, but young teen or even pre-teen girls. In Philippians 4:2-3 , Paul urges the church to help Euodia and Syntyche, his fellow laborers in the Gospel. Women clearly had value in the work of building and edifying the Church. In Romans 16 , Paul mentions a variety of different women workers for Christ. In the first verse he says, “I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea.” In verse 7, Paul mentions Junias as his fellow prisoner and apostle. Hers is a clearly female name, and she is the only female apostle named in the New Testament. In verse12, he sends greetings to Tryphena and Tryphosa, women who work for Christ. Paul is not suggesting that women have no place for teaching or prophesying or helping in the church. In Corinth, he is dealing with obnoxious women who cause interruption and confusion. He reminds his readers that the Law says women should be subject to their husbands – ever since God told Eve that her husband would rule over her in Genesis 3:16. However, this should never be used to cloud the role of women in the ministry. When it is, it’s a tragedy. Where would the mission fields be without women? Most would be non-existent. What would the Church be without the ministry of women since the very beginning? Don’t forget, it was Mary Magdalene who first learned the Lord had risen in John 20 and went to tell the disciples in John. She was the very first person to spread the news that Jesus had risen from the dead. Conclusion: My personal view as a pastor, based on the revelation & knowledge of the Scriptures I have till so far, I find it grievous when Christians take a very hard, judgemental & dogmatic stand on women in ministry . Women can operate in pastoral roles, exercise ministry gifts be on church boards, but with only one exception: it is however not Scriptural for a women married or single to be a lead-pastor or elder , but I do know of certain circumstances like war or other extreme circumstances women sometimes have to step in. At the same time (even though they were not church leaders) where would the world be without mighty women of God like Amy Carmicle or Corrie ten Boom & many others like them? Last but not least my wife is the best prayer partner, support, adviser, encourager & relieving me of many tasks including prayer ministry & ministering to women specifically. I wouldn't be where I am today in ministry without her!
- Hollywood's predictive programming
Many of us might remember various movies or series from about 10-15 years ago, which we thought then was really Science Fiction & far fetched, inspired by Hollywood's script writers having a large & vivid imagination of reality. There have been various testimonies of stuntmen & actors that have left the Hollywood scene, that the CIA has a large influence in the themes & scriptwriting. Whether this is true or not we don't know with 100% certainty, but they definitely getting very close to the things we see now around us & start lining up with Biblical End time doctrines & eschatology. I have never watched the series X-files myself, but this content of this particular Episode is uncanny, realistic & applicable in regards to what we see around us now, not just in the US but world wide!
